Nice upgrade to my electronic set
I needed to upgrade my old bass drum trigger. This is everything I need for now. Good, realistic playing response. Feels like a real bass drum. My only critique is that it moves side to side slightly when you play it, but I may need to try a different pedal. Overall - great bass drum trigger!

Triggers perfectly but not too sturdy
I bought this bass drum trigger on ebay to use with my ddrum module. It triggers fantastically! The threshold can be set pretty high and it still triggers with much sensitivity. The only issue is with my double pedal it really isn't too sturdy. You have to keep the pedal off center to make the beaters hit the center of the pad. I'm using my drum rack to hold it in place. I'm sure with a single player it will stay pretty secure.

Roland makes quality eDrum gear!
Brand new and working like a charm, this bad-boie is getting mounted inside a jazz kick drum for touring!

That this thing sucks
Unfortunately I've learned that no matter what the company name is, regardless of History, that generally everyone now is putting out a crappy product. I've had this thing barely a week and it's already missing Triggers on the bass drum which is mildly infuriating. Construction seems decent enough but it's not what it's on the outside it's what's on the inside and apparently it's crap and it's $250 that I'm out now so I guess at this point I'm just done with electronic drums because it's such a infuriatingly money exhausting endeavor and generally I end up spending more time working on these these things than playing them. I don't even really know why I gave it to Stars maybe delivery who knows either way it's sad used to be you could buy something with a roland name on it and you wouldn't have to worry about it. Unfortunately times have changed. Might as well just bought Alesis or Simmons. So having said all that you want to buy it go ahead you're getting a big piece of junk but to be fair all electronic drums are junk unless you spend about 10 grand and I don't even know I've never played one of those they might be junk too stick to acoustic drums this stuff is trash it's garbage and it doesn't last and it's expensive. Roland very disappointed will never buy roland product again.

Great product, but might need replacement every 6-7 months.
Feels great when using it. But this is the 2nd one that is going out on me. The first one went out on me in around 6 or 7 months, and now this one is going out on me, and I purchased around the end of the summer to replace the first one. It's been about 5 months or so. Although, I use it very often as it is out church "drum set". When I use the kick, it triggers the kick once, instead of twice, so I get a stacked sound. Or, sometimes it delays, and I get the first sound, then the second sound triggers a split second later. Im not sure if its because the circuits get cold, or because if the wear and tear, but It does get annoying at times. Then again, it also might serve as a good sign of progress! over all, it's a great electric kick drum and it feels great!

Cable and Manual - a no show
Only the KD-10 arrived in the box, no manual or stereo cable. The box looked re-taped and there was a dent so my guess is this was a re-re-sell.The online manual lists the items that would be expected in the box.So unless I can get at least the cable that should be with this re-re-sell my review will remain at 1-star.Does the drum work? No idea, can’t plug it in!

This Is LOUD. Don't be fooled by them advertising it as Low Noise, It's Extremely Loud
If you enjoy Loud Slapping sound like plastic against plastic, then buy it. That's all I can tell you.
