Nice and HEAVY!
After looking at numerous reasonably priced blankets and throws and reading reviews I decided on this one primarily because more than one reviewer mentioned how heavy it was. They weren't wrong and I'm thrilled.I have a queen size bed but bought the king sized blanket. No more arguments over blanket "stealing". It touches the floor on both sides (almost). It went into the washing machine on a gentle cycle with minimal detergent and then into the drier. I expected tons of lint and the blanket delivered. My point being that cleaning out the lint trap three times during the drying process wasn't problematic. Just be around whilst you're drying and check the trap a few times. Do NOT pop the blanket in the dryer and then go out to the mall for a few hours. You may come home to a burned out shell where once your house stood. It's big, heavy, soft and warm. Not, as other people have mentioned, fluffy bunny fur soft. Just not in any way scratchy. This is all a matter of taste, isn't it? What I can say is that this is one of my more successful Amazon purchases and I'm very happy. So happy that having extolled the blanket's virtues I may just have a look and see if I might not get my hands on another one in a different colour.

Good value
This blanket is definitely priced well, especially for organic cotton. But, it's definitely not warm and cozy as advertised, in fact it's rather stiff. Plus it is just not long enough. Comes up to my armpits and will not reach to cover my shoulders.

Quality and Value
After a dozen years, it was time to replace my down comforter. This time I decided to use blankets, but wanted to use natural fibers and not sleep encased in petroleum products. So, I bought a nice wool/alpaca blend blanket. As the weather now turns cold, it seemed the new wool blanket could use just a little help to match the warmth of the old comforter. This cotton blanket, used as a bedspread over the wool blanket worked out perfectly. The oat color and the weave pattern are good looking. By itself, the cotton’s weight is probably almost a 3 season blanket. According to the instructions, I first washed the blanket in cold water and dried it on a cooler than normal setting. No problems, the blanket still looks nice and there wasn’t too much lint in the dryer. It appears to be a quality product at a value price point. The fact that it’s organic is a bonus.

Perfect 100% Cotton throw
I looked at several throws and decided to give this one a try first since it is made of organic cotton (a very rare find and so much better for health). It's perfect! There was no smell when I opened the package! Seems to happen a lot with Amazon products coming from China. Washed before use like the tag said and there was no color change like many other brand reviews. Also, there was just a normal amount of lint from a new cotton item like what you would see with new cotton towels. I have this and a 100% cotton light quilt and the two of them are a lot heavier than my old puffy 100% polyester comforter. This was a little weird the first few nights feeling weight on my body but I love it now and don't wake up sweating anymore.

Like that it's organic cotten, but it is NOT soft
I ordered this since it was GOTS 100% organic cotton, so I can't be too picky I suppose on how it feels... but when it says "super soft" in the title, I expected at least a little softness. It is ROUGH! We washed it to see if that would help, and it didn't, but maybe after several washed it would? I got it for my child's bed and she immediately said "Ew, what is this blanket?!" on the first night. Since I'd already washed it, it was ours at that point so now it's folded up in the closet unfortunately. Yay for organic cotton, but nay for the rough feel of the blanket.

Awful!
This blanket is absolutely awful. Aside from the scratchy material and color, the sizing is off. I bought the king size for my king bed and as you can see, it falls about a foot too short in length and a few inches on each side. I tried it every which way and it either didn't fall on the side AT ALL, or it was way too short. I like to tuck my blankets into the side under the matress and I had about 1/2 inch of fabric to do so, whereas my other kind sized blankets I have no issues. The color is also totally off. I ordered a gray but it looks more like a tan/cream color (I would name this colordirty dishwater white). It doesn't even look like its in the gray family when you put it next to other shades of gray. I plan to let my kids use it since they have full size beds and it will actually fit their matress. Plus it already looks dingy so no stress over them getting it dirty! Overall super disappointing. Keep your money!

Exactly what I wanted
I bought this to replace the cotton blanket I had that was a bit too small for my bed. This is sized just right, as well as being a little thicker than the one I had. The color is pretty, too. It doesn't feel as soft as the one I had, but I have found that over time, as they are used and washed, they get softer. Some people have mentioned that these blankets snag easily and it's true. However I have found I can usually work the snag out by pulling and adjusting. The weave of the blanket allows for this. Still, I would not recommend this as a blanket to be used by itself. It will stay nice much longer if it is used on a bed layered between the sheets and the quilt/bedspread. For me, it's perfect.
