Just recieved my new Makita polisher. I think this is about my fourth Makita, but that is over the last 20 or so years. I really put a lickin to my machines because "Paint Rejuvenation" done right, demands a powerful machine with some BEEF if you will! As usual Makita comes through with a good, solid buffer. The variable speed does very well applying pressure. The only difference in the models is the polishing kits that come with the unit Because the unit itself is the same

Great polisher! Had it in my cart on and off for years. The industry standard. I tried to save money and bought a cheap one. BIG mistake. After the required punishment time of using the crappy buffer, I finally went for it. Never looking back. A perfect example of “buy once, cry once”on getting a quality tool.

I have run mine almost none stop 4 to 10 hours a day for three weeks now and it hasn't complained. The only drawback it's its weight! Good gracious this is a monster my biceps cramp by the end of the day.

Excellent buffer it takes the abuse of everyday buffing nonstop for 10 hours a day for a few years, it makes its money back ten fold. The switch goes out after a few years and it's about 30 bucks to replace. 10/10 product I use 3m compund and pads.

This machine is perfect. I bought the used like new. Great bargain! There was a very small spot of dirt on the power cord that wiped right off.
