Incredible cookbook!
Love, love, love this cookbook! I bought a copy for myself and loved it so much I gave one to my neighbor (whose family has GI issues as well as a son who has autism and special nutritional needs). Was at a party the other night and the neighbors told me how much they enjoy the tasty recipes and so appreciate the flavorful options to keep their son healthy and satisfied. The recipes are yummy and creative. Truly helps to keep things interesting! Can't wait to try more of them in the coming weeks. Also, the explanation at the beginning of the book is really helpful and written in a way that is easy to understand.Overall, great cookbook to keep our guts healthy! Will be buying more books to share as gifts with friends and family.

Pretty easy to substitute things
This is probably the most user friendly cook book I have seen. I have 55 food sensitivities and 6 true food allergies, and this book makes things easy to omit or substitute.

So easy, so delicious!
I love this cookbook for GAPS diet. The recipes are tasty and easy to follow and the book has a nice variety.I bought this about two years into my GAPS adventure so I did not use it my first time through the Intro program. Though this book describes the Introduction stages, it does not give quite enough detail. If you have never done GAPS, get Dr Campbell-McBride’s “Gut and Psychology Syndrome” and read that carefully. THEN get this book because for quality and simplicity these recipes are great. For my second time through the intro I used the sample menus in this book and it was really easy. Believe me, if you are ill enough to need the GAPS diet, easy is a must!

You need to have this cookbook!
This book is amazing! Great GAPS information, takes you step by step through the introduction diet. The absolute best part is the recipes are delicious!!! I have never eaten so well, it doesn't feel like I am restricted from eating delicious food, and my cooking skills have increased. The only tip I have is when making the squash pancakes, I use a different recipe because the one in this cookbook won't stay together for me (could be because of my low elevation). I do one cup squash, one cup homemade soaked and dried almond butter, 5 eggs. Separate egg whites and whip well, combined the other ingredients together, then fold in egg whites. Makes perfect squash pancakes!

If you are looking for a low fodmap cook book, this book is not for you!
This is a very nicely presented book. It is very ogical how it is introducing GASP , its special diet. However it is not a Low FodMap diet as i found it under searching “low fodmap cook book” on Amazon. Maybe it is not the book’s fall but it is an advertisement issue. Just beacuse there are a few words about low fodmap diet and there are 7 recipes in the whole book for low fodmap people, it does not mean that this book is a low fodmap diet cookbook. There is a little icon that shows if the recipe is ok for low fodmap diet people. But that is all. It would be very helpful if there would be a note at the end of the recipes with what modifications that recipe could be good for low fodmap diet. Some of the recipes are off too. For example tzatziki sauce. The recipe says: Peel the cucumber, shred it and put it into the yoghurt. Now, everybody knows who tried cucumber with youghurt or sourcream that if you do not sprinkle it with salt and then squeeze out excess water, it will water up the whole thing. Some other recipes are also seem to be so simple; So simple that i need to read it several times to undersgand how should it be really done. I have been cooking for about 40 years which gives me confidence to alternate the recipes, but this book will give some dissapiontment for a new cook. I keep the book because i want to try if the GAPS diet works for me.

A very helpful book
I just started the GAPS diet and have been using this book the most. I purchased 2 other books, which are helpful too, but I like that the recipes in this book are grouped by stages and that the author provided a week's worth of daily menus. I also like that several of the recipes have pictures to show the finished dish. I have enjoyed all of the recipes I've tried from this book. I would definitely recommend it to anyone else who's considering the GAPS diet.

Clear explanations for the diet, nice photos and diagrams, and well laid-out plan
Clear explanations and well laid-out plan. Nice photos. The recipes are not completely vetted: Instructions are not quite clear on some recipes. And why would I spend the money to put raw honey into a bread that will be cooked? The main thing that could be improved is that the fractions in the recipe ingredient amounts are in a font that make the numbers about 6-pt text (that's small). Change that so it's more easily read, and I'd love to use this book more.
