Quick and easy way to digitize slides.
I found some slides from my childhood (60 years ago), and decided to digitize them for convenience and long term security. After looking at reviews for several leading competitors, I chose the Zonoz unit. It was super easy to set up and use. One limitation was that the slides need to be loaded one at a time into the slide holder before inserting into the machine. But this proved to be a non-issue, as this task took only a few seconds. I digitized a box of 35 mm slides (24 of them) in about 15-20 minutes! Picture quality was good. a few of the slides were dark ( underexposed). The brightness tool inthe zonax partially lightened them; I put them through a photo editor for final touch ups. Very happy with this converter.

Very good quality scans with a little effort
Relatively easy to use. Other reviews say to adjust color and brightness using computer software but after a bit of practice, I achieved a better result using this device for the adjustments.Film holders are a bit difficult to open.

Great unit!
A very nice 'Slide Scanner' product--just take your time at first & follow the instructions. And then you will discover that it is very easy to use with great results

Good quality but poor ease of use for film negatives
This works great for slides, you can just keep moving them through the tray. Film negatives however do not slide through the tray and require constant removal of the tray, open the tray, put the film in, repeat. This is a good product but for the price should have been better designed for negatives to continuously slide through, they require too much effort/time consuming. Also even when using an SD card you are only able to save 25 pictures at a time before having to transfer them to another device, even though the card is capable of holding much more than this.

Love
My husband had slides that were 50 years old, took me 4 hours to do 240 it was pretty easy. I love this machine so simple to use. Only wish it did prints then it would be perfect

Good unit
Not too hard to figure out. Holds 20 or 21 35 mm slides in the internal memory, so I haven't used the SD card I got along with it since I just batch the images into my computer hard drive 20 at a time. One thing to note - debris from old slide frames can easily get into it, so you have to keep checking for that and blow it out as needed.

you get what you pay for
the box was not sealed when received. it was either a refurbished item or a return. It did not come with instructions. I have read other reviews to see why I can not use it with an sd card (I've tried different sizes). It does work with the cord but only holds a few which means every 15 slides or so you have to transfer.
