These long, flat, semi-wide skewers are perfect for making skewered shrimp and veggie K-bobs!Those thin steel of bamboo round skewers are always such a pain (unless you double them up) to turn on the grill. The veggies iui es and shrimp want to rotate on the round skewers but CAN'T on these.Simply flip 'em to the other side with no problem. (HINT: Wrap a small piece of aluminum foil around the end you will be gripping when you rotate them to prevent the skewer from burning!)They really do change the way you can grill any type of meat, veggies, or fruits on your grill!!!

These skewers are great. They are strong and sharp enough to pierce through tough salmon skin, and they hold the food in place so there's no spinning when the kabobs are turned on the grill. I have round bamboo and metal skewers but now prefer to use these for kabobs. I also like the length of these skewers (8.3"). They hold a fair amount of food, are easy to handle, fit on small grills, and they don't splinter. Good value compared to other brands that offer 16 - 25 skewers for about the same price as 100 of these!

We love doing skewers, but so many times the round ones make it difficult to turn the food on the bbq. We used these for a recent tailgate, and we'll never go back!! The chicken stayed put, and they were SO much easier to use. There's a great, high-quality texture with these as well. Very smooth, and no splinters.

These are a little narrower than the ones I used to get at Sur la Table and as a result do not secure things like shrimp quite as securely.
