Can't be returned???????????
You should have said that these couldn't be returned. I just wasted my money on this strap. The padding under the strap gets caught on the skin. You need 2 people to put it on.

Comfort over function. A let down.
This strap like all the others I have tried is once again more concerned with comfort over function. The straps are fluffy padded which is irrelevant and a total detriment to its intended function. I don't want a soft strap, I want one that works and will relieve my tennis elbow pain!! The thick padded straps DO NOT slide easy on themselves making putting on and tightening the strap a total pain. I bought this strap following a link from a YT chiropractor but the Cho-Pat strap he had must of been the old model that actually worked, it was thin without the fluffy pad with the velcro pull incorporated into the strap not sewed on after the fact. Im very irritated as this is just one of many useless straps I have purchased. A simple long velcro tie down would probably provide better support and a closer muscle interface for better transfer of stress. I guess its better than my last strap which had an elastic velcro and was basically an arm ornament at best but still my high hopes came crashing down. Why change the design for the worse!! Buy at your own risk.

Very comfortable...
Partial thickness tear in the extensor tendon. Dr recommended this. I play pool competitively (8-ball) about 4-5 hours per week and without this I woudl not be able to play. I actually have two. One I keep in my pool cue case and one I at home. It is great when you are doing any sort of strenuous activity but for daily non-strenuous work I personally prefer the Mueller brace. The Mueller is a bit bulkier but I find that the compression and insulating factors of the Mueller have helped more in the day to day. But the Cho-Pat is the way to go if you are putting a strain on your elbow. I'd give it 5 stars but honestly it is less than attractive. Extremely comfortable and effective but had to pull one star for appearance.

Finally a non-black strap but it’s fraying within 2 weeks
So excited for a less-noticeable band than all the black ones with garish print/logos. Trying to wear a forearm band regularly so I wear the black one I have when working out and save the this tan one for wearing to work. Unfortunately the hook and loop strap on this one has started fraying along the sides less than 2 weeks after purchasing.

Great for severe tennis elbow
These elbow braces come in 2 varieties: 1. Stretchy and 2. non-stretchy.I've had NO luck with the stretchy type that you can find in any drugstore and I've tried several. This one worked for a pretty severe case of TE. Over several years I used it enough to wear it out and buy another. It is washable which contributed to the wear. The stretchy type appear to be marketed to preventing TE. I did not use this to prevent TE, but to help w/ a failry severe case. In my case, Lateral Epicondylitis, was an RSI.What to expect: You pull the velcro till is modestly tight and stick it down. This type does not "give" when you move your arm. That means, depending on how you tighten it, it may be too tight when you bend your elbow or too lose when you straighten it. But when it's tight, it works! (Not so tight as to reduce circulation.)

So Comfortable, You Don't Even Know It's There
I've bought several similar items in the past, but none has worked as the Cho-Pat elbow splint. I use it for Golfer's Elbow. It doesn't slide from your arm, it stays put and comfortably, if I may say so. It doesn't rub against the skin in an unnatural way, as in leaving marks, or being too rough for that area of the body. I am just happy it gets to stay in place and feel comfortable. It's also not thick and bulky at all, like previous ones I've owned. I actually just bought a second one of these because I want to have an extra one, just in case. You know that feeling that you finally got the right item and you don't want to not ever be unable to find it? That's exactly my feeling here. I hope this review helps you.

It's tight!
Perfectly tight. This is one of the best bands I've purchased. It can get so tight, it almost cuts off circulation in the arm. It relieves the pressure off the muscle perfectly, but it has no blob/foamy/plastic piece in the middle to sit on the Extensor Carpii Radialis Brevis muscle. Overall, 4 stars.
