This is one of my favorite mascaras, even including the fancy, high-end, skip-a-phone-payment kind :)My eyelashes are long, so with mascaras I specifically look for something that is volumizing as opposed to lengthening (though luckily, this mascara does both). My eyelashes are also blonde, so I need something that darkens them effectively as well. During a normal day, I reapply multiple times (don't know what that says about my personality, lol).This formula is of the gel variety - meaning you can layer and layer and layer it, and it won't clump. And flaking? Never a problem. With this formula, my eyelashes always feel soft, even if I've OD'd on reapplications throughout the day. It also mixes beautifully with other mascaras, if you are a fan of using two mascaras. I recently discovered that this mascara pairs wonderfully with Full n' Soft, another cult classic.The handle takes a bit of getting used to. The head of the brush moves at the joint - a feature that I don't find terribly necessary, but I love it all the same. It just needs to be applied with a light, gentle hand because it's very bendy.It's also a breeze to remove at the end of the day. I use coconut oil, and then my regular cleanser of the week, and I don't wake up looking like a raccoon :)You can keep your Dior Lash and Better Than Sex, I will gladly commit to my Mega Plush! :)

My lashes are fine and light colored. I use this product in blackest black to give them color and texture. It works.

The mascaras I've had in the past would always flake off my lower lashes, it was very annoying. "It's So Big" from Elizabeth Mott was my favorite, but it was starting to get a little pricey for me, so I had to drop it and look for something cheaper. Then I tried the Miss Manga mascara (the pink one) and fell in love with it. It did flake off my lower lashes, but at least it gave me the kind of look I wanted...right?Well, soon enough, I got tired of that mascara, with the flakes falling from my lower lashes and the upper lashes making hideous clumps.After comparing some other drugstore mascaras, I found that this one has a lot of good reviews. I read through them, both positive and negative reviews, and decided that hey, I guess I should try and find out myself.Well, this is now my new favorite drugstore mascara. It rarely clumps my lashes, and I don't get those annoying flakes under my eyes anymore... Finally!! Mascara I can wear on my lower lashes!

The wand ruins this mascara. It's really heard to lift your lashes and build volume with the wand constantly bending. The formal is okay! It's a little difficult for me to get off but not the worst I've experienced. If the wand was better I would be able to get a better effect but right now it just gives a "natural but better look "

I wanted a mascara to add length and volume and after some research I decided on this one. I'm not sure what my expectations were for a $5 mascara that's called Mega Plush but it worked OK. It's isn't a miracle mascara so forget that expectation but it did add some volume and length. It doesn't clump and was easy to wash off with a make up wipe. I would have liked more volume and length so I probably wouldn't order this again but it was worth a try and I will use the entire tube. I naturally have short lashes so for someone who has naturally long lashes, I could see this working very well for them. For short lashes I would suggest one to look elsewhere to get what they are looking for.

I ordered this based on the positive reviews I'd read here and in a magazine, and it's a really fantastic mascara -- especially given how inexpensive it is! I've been using Buxom Lash mascara for the last two years, but I honestly feel like this is just as good, and it's 1/4 of the price.This goes on nice and smoothly, with no clumping. Mascara can often cause my allergies to flare up, but this doesn't irritate my eyes at all.The only odd thing is that the brush bends (see the photo provided by Maybelline above), and this sort of freaked me out a bit the first few days I used this since I'm squeamish about things near my eyes and didn't like the idea of a moving brush. Now that I'm used to it, it doesn't bother me.This also washes off easily, and doesn't smear or smudge, even when my allergies are bad and my eyes are watery.Great product!

I have mild trichotillomania, which is an obsessive compulsive disorder where I sometimes pull out my eyelashes. I'm not consciously trying to look like a weirdo. It always feels like I have a loose eyelash, so I'm constantly tugging on them, so they fall out more. OK, enough of this therapy session.Point is, as a result, my eyelashes are sparse and sometimes patchy. I got hooked on this mascara when I read that it was gel-based, instead of the usual waxy, stiff mascaras. This really gives volume and length to your lashes, but with a weightless feel (so i don't feel the need to pull on them as much). It's also VERY BUILDABLE. You can add like 3 coats before your lashes start clumping. abOh and TIP: I also like to use 1-2 coats of the regular formula, and a coat of the waterproof formula to top it off. That way, it stays on like waterproof, but washes off like regular. :)

If you're trying to decide if a mascara at this price point can really be as great as everyone says, then believe me when I say you need to buy it!! I switched from Dior Diorshow to Maybelline Mega Plush and always get compliments on my lashes. I always get blackest black. Tip: make sure to purchase the "washable" style if you're not looking for waterproof - because the "waterproof" style will never come off. Okay, it will - but I accidentally made that mistake once and after struggling to remove it for a fair amount of time I will not make that mistake again! However, now I know that if I need a good mascara for a beach day or something that will involve water - waterproof will have me covered all day long!

I used to buy the colossal and many others, this one is far superior and same price but sometimes even cheaper. It doesn't dry out and make clumps either, easy to apply and gives dark lengthy lashes even without a primer. I love this one. The brush is big but not too big, easy to use too. I'm so happy I have this one a chance!!!

I haven't been able to find this mascara in stores. I loved the brush they had before cause the bristles were firm and had a thick brush. This one was a bit flimsy but I still like the brush. It goes on nice without the lashes sticking together.

I couldn't believe I found this mascara anywhere. It is perfect I spent about $75 on other brands.A girls mascara is so important. Thank you
