Authentic Mexican Poncho Reversible Cobija Blanket

Very quick shipping from Leos Imports, ordered on 10/27 and received on 10/30. Came by two day priority mail, promise dates were Feb. 02 thru 07. The poncho itself is nicely done but do believe the large dimensions given in the description. It's not exactly as I thought it would be. I have a few Mexican made serepes (blankets) and they are more like tiny ropes woven together, but this poncho is more like a cashmere sweater. I'm not really dissatisfied with it, just surprised by the construction. A very nice quality product, it's hemmed and the stitching is straight. The two fighting chickens and the border design is more attractive from across the room than up close. Needless to say that I like it and will keep it. But again keep in mind the word LARGE and that it is. Mine will need cleaning because of many loose fibers on it. After cleaning I'm looking forward to the stares from others. I lived in Arizona and love the southwestern culture.

Just arrived. Acceptable quality, but don’t expect it to last a lifetime like a truly authentic Sarape will. Worth the $39, but barely. I’ll keep it because I like the design.I was expecting a heavy authentic Woven Sarape, this feels like a light fleece on the back and weft of the “weave” appears more stitched to the fleece that woven. I’m not sure what the actual name for this type of weaving is called but it’s horrible...As I said above, I like the pattern/design so I will keep it, but I will never buy another. I’ll stick to driving to Mexico and buying the true authentic thing...

This is the second best purchase of my life. No joke: I sleep in this thing. When I roll out of bed I STILL HAVE MY BLANKET ON WHEN I GET A CUP OF COFFEE. The Snuggie can go to hell. Robes can die in a fire.The fringey part unravels rather easily, which bums me out. But I just tie them into little knots to keep them looking somewhat neat (see photo).I did almost knock my glass of wine over when I was making my way past the coffee table to snuggle up on the couch.Also my cat loves it.

This was a Christmas gift for my brother. He loved that it was warm inside. The material inside feels different from the outside and is great. Is very durable and for sure warms you up.

Gave this for a Christmas gift. It is a large, warm poncho, and fits loosely on a man who normally wears an XL in clothing. It's warm, but not too hot. Perfect poncho for lounging around on those cold winter days.

Wore this last winter 24/7. Slept in it too. Working up the courage to wear this to formal occasions, such as weddings and funerals... I'll get there one day. Only drawback are the number of items I have knocked over due to not being used to the extra material hanging off the chest and shoulders.
