These are perfect fire extinguisher pull pin straps that easily break away only when you pull the pin to use the extinguisher. I tested them to be sure they break away when needed.Great item, great seller.

Sturdier than oem style but should be great for my boat fire extinguishers. I ended up screwing up the first one so I’m glad the package comes with so many. High price for strips of plastic.

Great product

The security is easy to circumvent by just buying the same kind of seal on Amazon. If they were numbered they could potentially be much more secure.

I purchased these for two applications: securing safety pins on fire extinguishers, and labeling various fuel cans. The first one I installed was on a fire extinguisher mounted in the bed of my work truck. It was installed in late October 2018, and after just 4 months it deteriorated badly. It became brittle, and crumbled in my hand after barely touching it in early March. I used a couple of other seals used in sheds and shops where the environment isn't controlled but there is no direct exposure to sunlight, and they seem to be doing okay.These did exhibit high initial strength, were easy to install, flexible, and resisted being pulled backwards through the lock, so overall I would say they are a good product. However for most of my applications which involve exposure to sunlight, these are just not usable. There was no mention in the product description of these not being usable in outdoor / UV environments, and the listed applications included outdoor environments, so I expected these to work. Perhaps if you only need it to remain intact for a very short time it will work, but for anything longer than a couple of months a different product is in order.

I bought these to hold the safety pin in place on our fire extinguisher. I really only needed one but this was the best buy I could find. They work fine for what I am using them for.
