Good quality but minor fitment problem. 2009 Cadillac CTS-V
Hood strut looks to be good quality, however, the top attachment piece is a metal socket-type (as opposed to the plastic OEM one). Usually this isn't a problem, but there's barely enough free play in the socket to move the strut over to the bottom attachment point. It's right at the edge of bending to fit.. I fear the bending of the lift support will cause failure over time. Returning and buying OEM.
