Great stencils

So I used this stencil set to mark the holes in my Squat rack so I can set each side up at the same height in seconds with no issues. The stencils are high quality in my opinion, and they worked out well for the most part. I simply taped them in position, masked off the rest of the steel uprights so they wouldn't get oversprayed, and sprayed a light mist over the stencils. I applied several light coats from directly above the stencils to prevent any paint from "sneaking past" the stencils (which creates a "fuzzy" appearance around the numbers/letters vs a sharp/crisp paint edge). The good part is most of the letters came out great. The bad news is, first, the stamping process wasn't complete on quite a few of the letters, so I had to cut the letters out with an x-acto knife to avoid tearing them. Secondly, some of the letters and numbers had the edges rolled upwards, which leaves a gap between the stencil and whatever you lay it on top of. I knew I'd have trouble with a few of the letters specifically since they weren't sitting tight against the part I was labeling. It was as if the stencils were stamped from the backside instead of the front, during production. I wasn't able to control the paint from sneaking under those particular stencils, so a few letters came out "fuzzy" in appearance. It's not the end of the world, and I think it was only with 3 letters total. I ordered 2 sets of stencils and one set didn't have this issue.Overall I'm happy with my purchase. It served it's purpose.

Did the job, I used several of the letters over again on the same project, but any that I used I ended up throwing away...not worth saving. If you're looking for a stencil for only one project-these are great! I taped mine down, and used double sided tape to help anchor the middle parts down, as I was spray painting with these

The letters(1") were not at the same spacing on each stencil. The height were a little off. Not a big deal but would make the it simpler if the bottoms would match. The durability is another thing. When removing the punch out for a couple of the letters that are a little more detailed they can tear. If you are planning on reusing them more then a couple of times I would go with a good brass set.

Worked for my project, started to fall apart after multiple uses

Perfect. Good heavy paperboard stock. Perforations are well formed so separating the individual letters was easy and clean.
