Cricut2001796 Projects Cartridge, Mini Books

I have been looking forever for a cartridge that cuts an "explosion" box, at least that is what I call it. You take the lid off this box and many layers falls open where you can embellish it with photos and your memories in your own words. It came in time that I could make one for a special occasion in my family. It was the talk of the family event. I brought along my cricut machine and showed them how easy it is to cut it out. I know there will be more cricut machines and the "Mini Books" cartridge bought just by my family! Keep them coming Cricut...I love the cartridges.

I bought this to use for exploding boxes. It cuts out the boxes quite nicely, though I was hoping to be able to have 4 inch sides, but the Cricut has to leave a margin on the paper when cutting, so the largest size was 3.75 inches. Still much easier than cutting by hand, and it is cool to have the "webbing" between the sides.

The seller is 5 stars and the cartridge is 4 stars. Good product, but once again I think Provo Craft falls short on the instructions. Not as easy to figure out how to create the different books. Comes with 2 booklets...one is strictly for putting together the books together

I am looking forward to using this cartridge to possibly make gifts for people to put pictures in, or put gifts of pictures in them of our family for people. Lots of possibilities!

This is the perfect tool for someone who wants to create a mini book but may be unsure about how to hand measure and cut by hand. So it works well for me and would recommend this for beginners who may be hesitant to start their first project.

love this cartridge! you can save tons of $$ making your own envelopes...custom sizes and shapes! I recommend this cartridge for the crafty thoughtful person who likest to give out gifts and thank you cards in custom made envelopes. i really enjoy it!

THE best mini book making cartridge for those beginners like myself who want the book thing and just don't have thewhere with all to make up one yourself :)

This is a great project if you like to make mini albums for favors or for gifts. You can make large or small and is a great for presents to put pictures in to show people when they visit.

A limit but useful addition to your cricut cartridge stash. The instruction book is all picture based which I suppose is designed to reache all nationalities. For the experienced crafter this may be of limited use however it does enable you to complete a project quickly - would I buy it knowing this - possibly yes for the ability to complete a project quickly and efficiently.
