I rebuilt my 2.0tsi after it had timing failure and bent valves. My OEM cam bridge was eaten up from the screen falling out. Didn't feel like spending $200 on a new oem one, so I bought this one.I have absolutely no complaints with this one and it has been running perfectly with it for almost 2500 miles now. I did rip out the screen on it because they are pointless. Machining was perfect and it fit like a glove.

The cambridge quality feels decent, the integrity and structure are solid. It's on par with OE though somewhat lighter weight. The major problem I had with it, and I gotta write a review to save other folks' time and money, is: the bolt holes do not line up precisely.One of the three is completely off to the far edge of the circular opening on the intake camshaft side which makes it very difficult to reinstall the adjuster magnet. You risk crossthreading all 3 holes if you are not careful.In the event tthat you manage to put the adjuster magnet back on (by turning each bolts slowly in even rotation), there will be hairline gap between the adjuster magnet and the seal from the upper timing chain cover. That means you will experience slow leak over times at best, and at worst you will constantly lose oil pressure which leads to insufficient oil delivery to the camshafts and that will stretch the upper timing chain.I just finished writing a step by step to replace the tsi 2.0 ea888 gen2 timing chain assembly (google: paul timing chain guide) and I wanted to give this product a shot since many people have issue with the cambridge oil screen filter that breaks loose and causes catastrophic problems with the timing and camshaft. Unfortunately this cambridge introduced more headaches than solving the other problem in the first place. I cannot recommend it.

Engine runs well.

Made In China as expected. But looks to be machined well, and it fits perfectly. So far no issues. Only thing that I’m slightly concerned about is the oil screen seems like it may fall out, but that’s a troublesome piece on any of these cam bridges anyways. Fits my 2011 Vw Gti 2.0t tsi perfectly.
