KeterCompact Portable Folding Garage Workbenc

I’ve been eying this workbench for a while and finally bought one. Truly didn’t know how handy and convenient it would be. I have a small shed where I keep my tools and work from so space is always an issue. I liked this because it folds to a relatively compact size and sets up easy when you need that extra work space. Well, so far it has not let me down. It is sturdy, the extra storage space in the middle is so convenient to hold whatever tools you are using at the moment, the bar clamps are such a time saver and the ability to switch use between horizontal and vertical makes it one of my most handy work tools. Perfect for a quick set up when you don’t want to drag your saw horses and clamps everywhere. Do I recommend it? Yes I do. The way I see it, for the price I paid for it, I’m happy if I get couple years of good use of it (i got it for an amazing price too ).

The benefits of this Work Bench are countless - sturdiness is the main asset, it’s not light weight, but you can’t have both in my opinion.There are design flaws however. The edges of the bench; most susceptible to getting knocks and damage, are pretty weak. Mine was damaged and broken in a few places. The Seller; KSM, was absolutely brilliant about it and refunded me a mutually acceptable amount in a very quick and orderly manner.This however doesn’t take away from this bench, it’s head and shoulders above anything out there, but it’s not perfect.

Im Gegensatz zu den meisten Rezensenten hatte ich den Tisch nun über ein halbes Jahr im Gebrauch. Genervt hat er mich von Anfang an, aber nun bin ich so bedient, dass ich ihn weggeben werde.Das Ding ist in sich instabil. Es vibriert und wackelt und das nervt einfach. Hobeln zum Beispiel oder alles, was irgendwie Präzision und Ruhe beim Arbeiten verlangt? Vergessen Sie es!Es sollte jedem klar sein, dass eine sichere Befestigung etwa eines Schraubstocks oder irgendeiner Maschine vollkommen unmöglich ist. Man kann zum Beispiel eine Standbohrmaschine oder eine Kapp- und Gehrungssäge *draufstellen*, aber eben nicht befestigen! Das ist also auf Deutsch gesagt für den Eimer und zudem gefährlich! Ebenso schwierig bis unmöglich ist das Be*fest*igen von Werkstücken mit Schraubklemmen o. Ä. Die beiden integrierten Schnellspanner sind schwergängig und bei mir nach ein paar Monaten bereits gar nicht mehr zu gebrauchen. Von besonderem Nutzen waren sie ohnehin nie!Kommen wir noch zu einem nicht unwichtigen Punkt: dem Säubern. Es ist eine Strafe, dieses Ding mit seinen tausend Vertiefungen, Rillen etc. von Holzstaub und Sägespänen zu befreien. Mit Metallspänen wird es sich nicht anders verhalten.Ehrlich, ich bin richtig froh, wenn das Ding aus dem Haus ist!Wer könnte es gebrauchen? Ich weiß es nicht. Für kleine Basteleien ist jeder andere Tisch genau so gut geeignet. Für Größeres ist das Ding einfach unbrauchbar.

Purchased this at the discounted price of 44.99 and have to say its really really good, very solid and compacts easily, would be nice if it had peg holes and guides but for that kind of money its a space saver and feels really thick/good quality for working on.At £80 im not sure i would invest, it certainly wouldn't be a waste of money but i think there are other brand versions with more features for that price range.But if you can source it for £44 range its top notch and you wont be dissapointed, im only disappointed i didn't get two and get rid of my larger table!

Workbench can't be properly erected as the lock button was broken when it arrived. Two other catches snapped as soon as I tried to pull it up following the instructions. Several areas of the bench have plastic rivets sticking high above the surface, with rough bits of plastic making it impossible to lay anything flat on the surface or move it about. Sent the attached photos and description of the problem to the seller as soon as it arrived, but over 5 weeks later still no response. Avoid using this seller, and buy a different workbench.
