A strong (food) container that is air- and water-tight.Although a fan and long-time user of Lock and Lock's broadly similar products, this was ideal for a specific use as its lower height and larger base area allowed more to be stored within and without having excessive wasted space above its contents that the other brand's taller designs would allow.The locking mechanisms are super-tight which is encouraging as, even if they were to slacken with extended use, they would remain completely functional and preserve the fit. Lesser brands, not L&L, can become eventually unsuitable for food as their seal tightness is not always preserved.

As an Acrylic Artist I actually purchased this to use as an alternative to a stay wet palette for my paints. Traditional stay wet palette and papers don’t tend to last long so this tub, some jay clothes & some baking paper work as a cheaper, sturdier, perfect option. It is the perfect size and would also be very useful if u wanted it for it’s correct use for Fridge food or family sandwiches etc. It is about the size of an A4 box folder and with the airtight seal and four clips to hold the lid on to the base, it makes for an ideal solid plastic storage box, or for an alternative stay wet palette.

These boxes are really a very good value for money (I bought the 7er set when it was on discount).+ Airtight (Keeps the odours within)+ Water-tight+ Quite sturdy (both the body & the clips)+ Dishwasher safe+ Microwave safe (subjected to a certain power level)+ Freezer safeCons:- These boxes get scratched very easily and as a result get opaque within a couple of washes.- The odour of the previously kept food items tend to linger on and on, even after rounds of cleaning (which includes a round in the dishwasher as well).

Excellent quality container. Robust and completely watertight.This is used as a daily packed lunch container, carrying salads with oil dressing, and it has never leaked. It's really easy to clean because the seal is an integral part of the lid, so it doesn't fall out or get food underneath it.

Great quality for a small price. Started making my own soups, needed something this large to store in fridge. Thought the seal might be a bit suspect at this price but no! Every bit as good as L&L

I use these boxes to freeze portions of soup. They're stackable due to the raised rim of the lid, which makes for a much tidier freezer.
