Far more uses than just horse tack.
These are very well made fasteners. My use is probably the most unexpected use. During this pandemic, I found that I couldn't wear my hearing aids with the usual "over the ear" face mask, so my daughter made one that used a single elastic band in back. It looked like a Bandito mask. But it wouldn't stay up on my nose. I always wear a cap so I tried catching the band on the adjustment strap in back. This kept the mask in position, but the elastic band kept slipping off. I put one of these in the hat band & now I have something to hook the band to & it works perfect.

Great for dressing up leather projects
I love using these here decretive screws on my leather projects. My beautiful bride says these here little screws give my leather projects a nicer finished look. She’s way smarter than me, so I listen and buy these.

NOT FOR WESTERN BRIDLES
I just presumed due to design that these would be big enough to connect western bridle leather parts. NO. Costly assumption. Be sure to measure thickness before buying.

Nice looking screws
Works great and is better looking than the old brass one I lost from my belt. I also replaced my remaining brass one, so both match. Some day I'll put some Locktite on them so they will never come unscrewed. I am now set with enough Chicago Screws for life (I have 8 left).
