34 Oz Thermoserv Foam Insulated Coffee Mug- Pearl Dark Blue

I make a frozen slushie about once a week. This mug keeps the slushie frozen and the outside is just barely cool. That's great. The handle is great. I don't need the lid and haven't used it. The rim is fine and not super-thick like the other insulated cup I bought. I'm taking off a star because at $10 it's a little too expensive, and the plastic seems a little soft, so when I'm washing it out I feel like I'll scratch it if I'm not careful, so I just use a washrag. I gave up on the dishwasher about 5 years ago, so I don't know how it would do in there.I'm pretty happy with it because there aren't many options for a large insulated mug, but I'd probably give it 5 stars if it were only $7 or $8.========Update: 2012-jan-30 -- okay, I've had it for a while. It has held up fine, it's easy to wash it looks good, it's nice and stable, I like the handle, never used the lid. Now I see the price is slightly lower, like I thought it should be, at $9.25. After owning it for a while, $9.25 is a great price to buy this mug at. And the plastic on the inside which felt soft, has not scratched AT ALL. Though I have been careful with it, it is still 'factory perfect' inside, and not what I was expecting to happen.I love this mug and I'm changing my rating from 4 to 5 stars. Great mug! I want to buy another one even though I don't need a second one.

I have been using these mugs since the 90's pretty much every day. I could probably do a commercial for them at this point. I use them for hot tea in the Winter and ice tea in the Summer. I usually swap them out every so often because I'm concerned about the plastic breaking down after so much use. They'll work for any hot or cold drink and I've never had a problem yet.

I have MIXED EMOTIONS on this product.Why?First ill start with the good or acceptable.I does keep water cold (3-5 hrs.) and size is right.So its not a bad product.However ,Lid is a pop in,not screw inn,and drinking hole or opening has no lid to prevent the water getting dust or insect's if your outdoor .So it comes down to use and individual taste.If you just looking for a handy mug to keep ice 3-5 hrs,its OK (i prefer 8-12 hrs like Bubba)I really wanted to give it 3 stars,but because its not a bad product,just poorly designed and other reviews i gave it a generous 4 Stars..just don't like the ides of unprotected drinking opening

I use this mug every morning for my fruit smoothie. One day I had to take it with me to work and was shocked that the smoothie was just a cold an hour later as when I put it in it at home! It washes up easily and seems to be wearing well. The last one I had lasted over 10 years, but that one I put through the dishwasher several times a week. Over time, that seemed to weaken the plastic.

It came all dusty and spotted and its very big TOO BIG.. Think BIG GULP..I think I used it and tossed it under the sink. I think for a woman this isnt a comfy cup but if you are ok with a huge cup that is like carrying around a gallon of water this is the cup for you.. Wash it when you get it because it is gonna but dustball city!

This is a great cup, I only use it for cold water which it keeps cold. I have had better, but they are nowhere to be found these days. Fill it with ice, refill it with water and the ice lasts most of 12 hours. I top is secure, a bit too much as sometimes I need to wrestle it to the floor to get lid off. If your mouth is not aligned just right with the opening you could get a bit of a dribble, but that just takes some time to get used to.

Looking to replace a 30 year old Aladdin thermal cup and this did the trick . have left cold (iced) dring in hot car for several hour during 90º days and still found ice in it and left hot tea out as the temps drop into the upper 30s . after my work shift i went to the car to find it warm still. very satisfied.
