Best boots I’ve worn in a long time
I’m 6ft, 300+ lbs and I work in a prison between 8-16hrs a day walking on concrete and asphalt with no problems. There is plenty of room in the toe so you don’t feel cramped. Walking on these boots is like walking on springs, there’s a ton of cushion and my foot, ankle, knee and back problems have gone away while working. I highly recommend these boots

Try again.
Based on other reviews sounding like these run large, i bought my actual shoe size and regret it. They arent tight, but they dont have a comfortable amount of room for me. I normally get one size larger. These did require a bit of break in time, their Khyber boots didn't and i kind of wish I'd gotten them again. But where these shoes are great, is the sole. These hands down have the most comfortable sole of any shoes ive ever worn. They also have a bit of a rock to them, as in the front and back of them curve up, similar to "Hoka One One" shoes. The toe cap area, im not sure how well it shines as they scuff pretty easily. So it wont matter if they shine up well or not, given that I've only worn mine for about a month and they're not looking so great.Overall, id say the only thing these have going for them, are that the soles are amazing. They fall short pretty much everywhere else.

It just doesn't fit the same.
I'm extremely disappointed in how the boots fit. I've been wearing them for about a month and everything from the middle of the foot towards the heel and up fits perfectly, but there is an absurd amount of toe room. I feel like I'm wearing clown shoes, and the worst part is that I'm wearing the same size as my previous pair, which weren't the same boot but were almost identical. Those boots were great and I thought Tactical Research made great fitting boots until I got these. Obviously I could just get shoes that are a size smaller and wider, but since I've worn them for a month it's far too late. Because of how poorly the toes fit driving is almost a hazard because of the difference in where I think my foot is verses where the tip of the shoe is.

Great 12hour work/concrete floor walking boots
It took 2 weeks to break them in, after that they are perfect. I stand/walk on a factory concrete floor 10hrs per day. These boots are light weight and cushiony. Feels like I'm standing/walking on pillows. They look heavy but they are not: same weight as a hi-top gym shoe. I now rotate two pair during the week and with six years left until I retire, I'm going to buy two or four more pair to see me through. They are not steel toe.

Good boot.
Previously I bought 14W but they were just a tad to small, not painful or anything but my feet always felt a bit cramped. This time I went with 15W and they are a just tad to large in the toe box but I like them better than the 14W.

Not Wearing Well
Delivered on November 19th, I have worn these boots for 11 days. I'm a retired military veteran whose worn boots for 30 years and I have not worn more comfortable boots than these Belleville's, with no break in period. In fact, I have less knee pain in the short time I've used them. I walk my dogs daily and walk a lot at work (15+ miles/wk.) and I have been very impressed with these boots until yesterday when I noticed the stitching coming apart on the left side of the left boot by my little toe. After further inspection I noticed the same is happening on the right boot as well. I’m extremely disappointed. If not for the stitching, these boots get 5+ stars. I'm hoping for an exchange or refund.

Great boot
I have been in the boot game along time. I wear 30-60 lbs of gear at a any given time. I recently was wearing coumbia snow boots in the summer because they actually had some rubber between you and the cement providing real shock absorption. I am definitely a maximalist when it comes to boots. These boots are not for everyone but perfect for me. Wide toe box, curvature of heel makes for better walking, most rebound ever from a boot next to columbia snow boots but in a tactical version. Widest foot print ever in a tactical boot which I love.

Perfect boots!
What can I say other than what the rest of the reviews have already said? Need service boots but want them to feel like the most comfortable sneakers? Get these. I have wide feet and and usually wear between a 10EE and 10EEEE. I bought these in 10EE and they fit perfectly. No break-in period. Just put them on and went to work. On my feet all day and there was no discomfort at all. They feel like they are months old already. I stopped by a store on the way home and as soon as I got out of the heat and into the a/c, I could feel the cool air penetrating the boots within seconds of entering. That's what i call breathable! I had a pair of the Belleville Khyber boots for years and loved them but needed something with more cushioned soles. These boots are 100% perfect for me.
