I had an old pair that I rarely wore. They were about 10 years old. The sole disintegrated so I had to replace the shoe. Very odd.

The only pair of shoes I've ever owned that needs no breaking in. Just tried them on, so I hope they wear well over years, but they fit like a glove. The styling is great too. The buckle ornament is understated, quiet. Florsheim apparently is not resting on laurels, but continues its tradition (or hired some Italian dude). I also bought a pair of Weejuns (black tassel) and they fit and exude quality, but they do require breaking in, so these Florsheim were a surprise, and are definitely more formal. (I stole someone's headline, btw. These aren't my first pair.)

I have bought these shoes for my husband for years. It is his favorite shoe because it is comfortable, neutral colors of which I purchased black and brown. The brown at first looked like black but we held it up at the light and you could tell it was brown more on the dark chocolate side. I wish in the future they could make the leatherette a tad lighter to tell the difference. We would definitely buy this shoe again.

Just as advertised and a precious looking pair!

Shoes fit as advertised. However, the top layer inside the shoe wasn't installed properly and had a crease in it.

Le confort de Florsheim n'est plus à faire. J'ai commandé le même modèle que mon conjoint porte depuis plusieurs années. Le soulier est le même que celui acheté il y avait 7 ans. Même qualité et même confort, et mon conjoint est très heureux, car il ne retrouvait plus ce modèle dans les magasins des environs. Mon conjoint dit que ce soulier vaut amplement le prix payé.
