Yaqi 24mm Naples Shaving Brush with Tuxedo Knot R1740-S

Superb shaving brush from the Yaqi company of China. Nostalgic, retro, Italian barber-shop style handle in Neapolitan blue and cream made of heavy resin. The synthetic bristles build and hold a tremendous amount of lather (see pictures) Yaqi make some of the finest and most beautiful shaving brushes in the world and are incredible value. Highly recommended.

This brush is better used with shaving creams where it is capable of creating a good, rich lather. Not so good, though, with soft soaps (croaps), imo, where more effort is required to get a decent lather. The best Yaqi brush - or, indeed one of the best shaving brushes I have used - for use with with soft soaps is the Sagrada Familia, sadly no longer available, where a lather every bit as good as with creams can be obtained without much effort.The other 'negative' about my example, at least, is that the join between the 2 colours on the handle is not as smooth as it might be. For the price, though, this is still a nice brush.As always, the service from the gentleman at Nice4shaves was extremely good. Thank you.

It's just a smashing shave brush, and I own plenty, you won't be disappointed.
