PT Auto Warehouse CH-3833S-FL - Outer Exterior Outside Door Handle, Smooth Black - for Full Door Type ONLY, Driver Side

Just got the product installed. So far its holding up very well. I hit it with a special coating of paint for UV that way i have no other issues in the future. Overall the product is a replacement for the original jeep full door handles. Note during the install my locking mechanism assembly broke and I did have to buy a replacement (21 year old jeep thats to be expected ) would reccomend chaning out your locking mechanism assembly since your there with the panels off and such. Install was a bit tough as i have larger than normal hands bit you will figure it out its pretty easy just watch a few videos on YouTube on how to do it and you'll be good! Install took an hour and a half so not too bad I'll update this in a few months

First door handle didn't work. Second door handle didn't work. I investigated why and the control arm didn't have enough room to rotate without hitting the handle mechanism. Look at the difference between the old one and the new one. In the last picture, you can see where I cut out a notch with a hacksaw blade and now it works great! Yeah, it was a pain, but I didn't feel like waiting for another part. If you've got the patience you'll enjoy this little project. Lol.I'm not gonna smash the seller. It is what it is. What do you expect for less than $20, anyway? You've just gotta be smarter than the door handle. If you're not, good luck.

Terrible, i went to install this handle and after the first couple times opening the door with it, one of the pieces popped out of place and in order to get this product out because there was no fixing it inside the door, i had to cut a hole on the inside of my jeep door to get the clips out. I do not recommend this product. The piece is too rounded and it causes it to slip out of place and make it impossible to use once this happens

The fit and finish of this product is just what I needed to fix my broken door handles. Looks to be as good as OEM. Fits very well and is 1/4 the cost of Jeep OEM.

So far so good only deductedone star for the paint/finish. No company sends these out painted well so always have to repaint them with Black enamel spray paint. Door handle works great so far on week 2.

Needed a new door handel, this was exacly what it said it was. But it is NOT easy to install. not a fault of the product the door is just really hard to fit your hands in to install it. If you dont want to spend your entire day on it you might wanna take it to a professional.

Feels durable. FIt perfect on 99 TJ.
