I have received my 2 pairs of J W boots this morning, which took shorter delivery time than expect. So satisfied with that.The boots are good as what I have seen from the site, colour is brilliant, style is my favourite, quality seems good, and the most important is it's fit. Excellent.

As with other reviews, you'll definitely need a full size bigger than you'd normally order. I have bad knees and so can't walk a great distance but i tested these on a trip where I had a 20 minute walk to the train station, a 15 minute walk to a park and the same back again plus walking all over a park and the soles of the boots made it so much easier for me. Ordinarily i would get home in pain and discomfort. The seem to absorb the shock of my steps. I only walk on pavements and park trails so cannot comment on any type of 'proper' trekking or hillwalking but they have certainly given me confidence that I can go out for longer and walk further.

This book is a very strong boot which would be suitable for serious trekking etc. It was unsuitable for our son as the protection around the ankle was very hard and felt like the protection had locked our son's ankles in place. Used these hiking around the Appalachian trail. Good support and a comfortable fit for the entire duration of my holiday.

This is good boot at a reasonable price.

10 months of walking on road and both split down sides where rubber meets material.no wear on tread what so ever. BAD DESIGN.
