ChimayWhite 24x33cl

The main flavours here are yeasty with some slightly herbal and fruity tones. It is darker than a pale ale or a lager but it's not a dark beer in the same way as the other two 'main' Chimays. Just like the abbey's other offerings it's an exceptionally good beer with a lot of depth of flavour. Definitely something to be sipped cool from a glass for the taste, rather than knocked back cold for the alcohol. If I had to suggest any of the three Chimay beers as a first try for those new to Belgian beer it would probably be this one, most likely to appeal to those used to paler beers.
