Excellent for Harbor Freight 4x36 table top belt sander
I use these belts with my Harbor Freight 4 in. x 36 in. Belt/6 in. Disc Sander. These belts are just slightly larger than what came with it. All this means is the tension on the belt is just a little lower. I can probably adjust it tighter, but it's such a non-issue, I haven't bothered trying.I use these fairly gently for small projects, and they have held up quite nicely. The seam is low profile, and smooth. The seam is hardly noticeable when in use, but as with most belts I have used, there is a slight bump as it passes. Compared to the original Harbor Freight belt, these have a very low seam.120 grit vs 150 grit is barely noticeable, but other than that, I have absolutely no complaints about these belts.NOTE: Tracking changes from one belt to another, so keep your hand ready to adjust tracking when you change belts. Running the belts the wrong direction works, but it seems like the seam is a little more pronounced that way.**If you found this review helpful, please mark it as helpful by clicking "Yes" below**

Great Deal
Fantastic deal for a bunch of belts. I didn't realize how much I would love having 220 on my belt sander, makes finishing batches of products so easy.

Handy to keep around, quality seems ok, good price.
Handy to keep this assortment around the shop. Good fit on my Ryobi bench belt sander. Gave 4 stars because I haven't used these yet but I'll be glad to have all those spares if a belt fails mid-project.

Good belts!
I've been a woodworker for over forty years and been through a lot of sandpaper. These are good quality belts, but I don't know that they are any better than any other quality belt. My use was to sand a hallway floor that had carpet pad that "melted" onto the wood. They did a good job of chewing it up and didn't seem to load up any worse that any other belt. With the use of a crepe belt cleaner, they cleaned up pretty fast and lasted well.

Wore out too quickly
I was expecting a good value for these belts based on the other reviews. Looking at the reviews again, a good number of them commented on the appearance of the belt, but not the actual performance. When I received my belts, I was excited, because they do seem high quality. The seam is good with no high spot, and the grit felt nice. I used the belts to flatten and sharpen a broad hatchet. I started with the 80 grit, and quickly wore through it, despite frequently cleaning the belt. I moved onto the 150 grit, then the 220 grit, and both were noticeably degraded after using them. I suspected it may be due to the metal, so I loaded up the 100 grit and began shaping some rosewood. I quickly wore through this belt too. Sadly, I found the Harbor Freight belt I purchased to be longer lasting than these belts, even when flattening metal. I suppose at $3 a belt, including S&H, I shouldn't have expected so much.
