Gift recipient loves the pen
A few of us pitched in to give this as a gift to a colleague, knowing how much he fusses over pens. This one is a big hit. He enjoys the writing, the heft, and the feel. He says he's made sure to buy refills for when they will be needed. He's not just being polite as he has brought this up independently several times since receiving it. The name is a nice touch too.

The pen was beautiful, sturdy and exactly what I wanted. The engraving could have been crisper around the edges.

Elegant and understated pens, with tasteful Times font
These are already beautiful pens, and the color is stunning but refined. Alone, without personalization, these are elegant. I own several in each of my portfolios and brief cases. This one was a graduation gift for my daughter, engraved. With the Times font, they remain elegant and understated. The other two fonts are hideous. Comes packages in the standard Cross black box with a medium black rollerball cartridge. Very classy.BTW, the pens write very well. Especially on smooth textured paper. A little less well on cheap scrap paper or unlined scratch pads. In all, very nice writing instrument aside from the personalization aspect.
