Whip some up!
This tuno is pretty good. It mixes up like tuna but doesn't have any fishy taste to it. In fact it pretty much tastes like nothing. I've used it in tuna helper and made tuno salad with it and both were very good. It's a little chewy.

I LIKE THIS PRODUCT!
I have been a vegetarian for 30 years and am always seeking out seafood and meat "substitutes." I purchased this tuna various times over the years and it has generally been okay with me as I am primarily seeking protein. Recently, they must have changed the recipe, and I am happy to say that it is now the best plant-based tuna I have ever purchased. This is a product for those who does not want to eat flesh food. Understand that it may not taste "exactly" like tuna, but the texture is good, and it is a good protein source. Drain all of the water out before using and it works well. If you keep producing this product, I will keep buying it!

TH PRODUCTS INGREDIENTS ARE WAY TOO WATERY!
Each can it filled with mostly water. As a result you cannot make anything substantial from the little soy meat inside- it's all so watery and as a result has hardly any taste. If you want to buy soy water this product is for you.I was very disappointed as TUNO was once a fabulous product for vegetarians.

Quite watery.
It needs to be really well drained to mix it with plant based mayo for a vegan sandwich. One can is only good for one sandwich. Flavor is good but would not fool a non vegetarian that it is tuna. I add green olives, onion and Hellman's vegan mayo after straining a can of it overnight. It is makes the filling for the sandwich a bit runny. But, overall, I recommend for a vegan option if you are like my husband and not concerned about processed foods.

Season it your food..
You have to remember, it's not traditional tuna. You have to season it to taste.Goes well when making Macaroni and tuna salad.Add onions, celery, Nori Flakes, and other seasonings.Really delicious when hooked up correctly...

Can filled with mostly water
Really good plant based tuna and flavor. Such a shame there’s hardly any left in the can when you remove all the water. You definitely need two cans for what would normally have only required one - so you should consider doubling your cost for a meal with this as an ingredient.

Great tuna alternative for vegans
I have two vegans in my house and they love this to make “tuna” sandwiches.

Bleh. I’ve been vegan for years, it’s a no from me dog.
I really don’t understand all the good reviews here. I bought a large pack of this a year ago because the reviews were all pretty good here and on other sites. I just cleaned my kitchen up trying to see what all I have stored in cans during quarantine, and found this. I tried one can out of the pack forever ago and it tasted terrible, had a slimy texture, and smelled like cat food. I tried to sit the rest of the open can down for my cat and she wanted nothing to do with it lol.I was really hoping to find something for a tuna melt, because I’ve been vegan for years and don’t really miss tuna, but I once had an amazing vegan tuna melt from a restaurant that’s now closed down. Not sure what they used, but since then I’ve only had one other vegan tuna salad and it was made with jackfruit, really good.I still might try find a recipe online and turn all these cans into something with a ton of vegan mayo since I don’t have too many options for food right now. I understand this is meant to be made to be a base and you should flavor it and mix it with things a needed, but the product itself should also taste and feel good, otherwise why would I use this over some seitan or even baked tofu or other options? Waste of money.

Does it taste like tuna, well it does to me.
As a vegetarian since the age of 15, (several hundred years ago :-), I have long forgotten what tuna tastes like. However, this "tuna" tastes as I remember tuna, and as I am on a keto diet, it is almost devoid of carbs, so win, win!

Disgusting
Smells awful, no taste followed by a cat food type aftertaste, looks watery, weird texture. Don't buy this lol.

Great to buy in bulk.
Was great to find somewhere to buy Tuno in bulk! The cost was average too. I recognise that Tuno is an acquired taste but I love having tuno mayo sweetcorn sandwiches.
