High Quality Decals; Applied Very Well Using Wet Application Method
Great vinyl decals! This particular set is nice and large, and the two characters are properly separated. I only used the Road Runner sticker and applied it wet. Here's my wet sticker application process:Materials/Tools1. The sticker2. Masking Tape3. Paper Towel4. Stiff Squeegee or credit card5. 90% rubbing alcohol (isopropanol)6. Application/cleaning fluid of water spray bottle with approximately 80% water (tap water will do, some use distilled), 18% isopropanol (for cleaning properties and to shorten evaporation time), and 2% soap (for cleaning properties but also for lubricity between decal and application surface; the more soap you add the easier it is to move the decal around)Steps:1. Clean and let dry the area around where you'd like to apply the sticker using the application/cleaning fluid (from here on referred to simply as "fluid") and some paper towel making sure to clean a much larger area than the sticker itself to avoid getting dirt in it2. Clean and let dry the same area with the isopropanol to completely degrease the surface3. Do not peel the decal backing or protective top layer off, but position the decal exactly where you want it and tape it on one side to create a hinge allowing you to lift the sticker to remove the backing and apply fluid and then reapply in the same position4. Using this hinge flip the decal out of the way5. Spray fluid generously on the area the decal will be applied to and here more is not a bad thing it just means it will take longer to dry and set, but you definitely want complete coverage6. Peel the backing off of the decal and flip the decal back into position on the surface7. At this point the decal will be floating on the surface with the application fluid in between and the protective cover on top which means you can make any final adjustments to its position before laying it down permanently8. Get out your squeegee and begin to press down the decal and squeegee out the fluid starting in the middle and working along the directions that any delicate parts of the decal lay to avoid wrinkles or tears9. If your decal doesn't stick right away be patient and let the fluid evaporate a bit while you continue to squeegee and remember to squeegee with the protective layer on still as you don't want to scratch your decal10. Once the decal appears to be well affixed and the fluid has evaporated around the decal remove the protective paper and wipe everything with paper towel to clean it off.And that's it!
