Nextbook 7 Tablet 16GB Quad Core

This tablet is krap! First the usb port wore out so that the tablet wouldn't charge or get recognized by a computer when you connected it via usb. Secondly, there was a problem with the internal storage where(even though there was supposed to be 16gb of internal storage) there was only 1gb available to install apps on. This problem was supposed to be fixed via a firmware upgrade, but because of the first problem above you could not connect the tablet to your computer to properly install the firmware update following instructions downloaded straight from Nextbooks own website. And last but not least....the unit finally would not come on at all..so now it's basically a brick(it had %37 of its battery remaining when it was turned off).We bought this tablet new 7 months ago. Save your money for a better brand name tablet or try another off brand one at least. Stay clear of this brand and it's products.

Got this for stepson because his last one got broken. I like these because you can replace the front glass without having to replace the lcd so it's ten bucks to fix instead of 50.

I bought this for someone else and she is very happy with it. I can't for the life of me figure out how to take photos - only "selfies". Very strange. But my friend doesn't care about that and is enjoying it.

Excellent tablet

Great for Internet and email. Use in Africa where losing or damaging it will not be such a financial loss.

I got this tablet to replace my original tablet. For several months I liked it a lot. It has nice specs and features. It has a poor quality camera but that's not why I wanted it and I never used the camera except to try it to see how it worked. After only 7 months of using it in exactly the same way I used my original tablet, the battery started losing the ability to hold a charge. This surprised me because my first tablet still holds a charge quite well, but not quite as good as when it was new. I got it 3 1/2 years ago and only replaced it because the old android version was not compatible with some of the new apps I wanted to use. For the nextbook, the percentage would drop way too fast. You could practically see it dropping because it was losing all of it's power probably in 1 hr or maybe even less. I did some research online, and it seemed like this problem was not uncommon. I found an external battery I could use with it. It was a little awkward, but an acceptable solution to the problem. I wanted to continue to get use out of the tablet and really, I liked using it. It did everything I needed (except staying charged.) Then there were a couple of times that the tablet would not charge at all, even though it was plugged in. It seems like the mircoUSB port is slightly off because it's always been difficult to get the charger it came with to plug in. I don't know if this has anything to do with the times I couldn't get it to charge at all. I thought the nextbook was completely dead or that the charger or it's wire was defective. But then a day or two later, I was able to turn the tablet on. My conclusion was that perhaps it has overheated and when it finally cooled off it turned on but still needed to charge. And it did charge at that point. ( I had to disconnect the charger for it to cool down.) It took a long time to cool down, a few hours but part of the reason was it wouldn't cool while the charger was connected so I guess the heat was building up. So, I thought maybe I could still return it but it's too late to do that. Meanwhile, I went back to the brand of my previous tablet, paid more than 3 times as much but I am fairly certain I'll be happy with the new tablet. Don't buy this Nextbook. You'll be disappointed. Pay more and get one with a great reputation. (I'm sticking with Samsung.)

Screen shattered after only 3 weeks, when it was accidentally dropped only 2 feet.😢
