Not the best option
My son likes to listen to books on tape. This was one of the only reasonably priced options we could find. However, the batteries are dying constantly. He says it stops regularly. It’s probably not going to be a good option for too long. We will probably end up getting him some sort of iPod to download books on tape as mp3s.

it quits playing in the middle of cds
I recently took the cd player on a trip=I used cds which were new and which I knew were fine and played beautifully-I also put new batteries in the Memorex-MUCH TO MY DISAPPOINTMENT THE CD WOULD START FINE AND SHORTLY LATER JUST STOP PLAYING-WHEN I RETURN HOME I WOULD LIKE A RETURN M AILING LABEL TO RETURN THIS ITEM-NOW I HESITATE TO MERELY GET A REPLACEMENT-PLEASE GIVE ME A REFUND!!!!!!

short lived
For being a Memorex I thought It was going to be quality. I am disappointed I received this on Oct of 2019 and Jan . of 2020 it stopped working .I put new batteries in it .It made no difference. I thought it was a good buy. not after having it for only 3 months

the buttons telling off on and other things are hard to read
some reason the music will only play 2 songs then cutoff. not all time but some times
