Beautiful Game
A classic. Beautifully recreated here with pre painted figures aswell! Albeit, a very scarce game to obtain. If you're lucky to get one you will enjoy all about it. A nice little treasure to have I say, especially if you like all things gothic, gaming and fun!

Very good tactical game
I own old version of this game but it had few gameplay flaws that were neatly improved in this version so I bought it as well. I really recommend this game, it's best played in 3 or 5 players.

Great game but some storage issues and typo's
there are some typos on the character cards, (hand limit should be 3 for everyone except John Seward but the cards say 4) my player cards have some small rips on the back and the inner box design doesn't seem to be designed to fit all the components properly. Some separate slots for the cards please???? Something that so many board games fail to provide!Despite all of this the game is really amazing and 100% worth the money. My only gripe about the actual game is that it's hard to find the time for it since its soooooo long. This cant be helped though and every game is memorable!

Component quality lacking but doesn't affect gameplay.
I'm a bit disappointed with the quality of some of the components. The player boards are quite flimsy, in fact the surrounding punch board from which they were removed separates very easily with the slightest amount of force. However, the artwork is quite good and the printing error in former prints has been corrected (card limit of 3 rather than 4).The cards aren't the best quality either, they are thin and wouldn't hold up to long-term use, but the artwork is good. Disappointingly, all the cards are warped in a curved uniform fashion. The figures are okay, not amazing by any standards but it's nice that they're painted. My Van Hellsing figure is coming out of its stand but I guess it's a relatively easy fix, albeit one I shouldn't need to tackle in the first place. The game board is of high quality and looks great. When unfolded, it lies perfectly flat on the table.Overall, I would rate the components as average - meh, but luckily the game design/ meachanics are great.

Complex but very good.
Quite complicated rules but once you've played a few times it's easier. The edition I received has a known mis-print on the character cards. The rules say that hunters can have up to 3 item cards and 3 event cards but the character cards show 4.Enjoying playing it.

This game is too long.
I enjoyed the gameplay and the theme of this game, but it is too long. Our first play through took about 7 hours including learning the rules. There is a mechanism to make sure that the game ends if Dracula isn't caught after a certain length of time, but this begins after 3 'weeks' (which means that the combined number of turns taken is about 200). At 1 minute per turn, this is 3.5hrs. I don't think the game could be much shorter than this if Dracula evades for 3 'weeks', and if you have 5 players (which will increase debate) then I doubt you'd be much less than 5 hours. This is my thoughts off one playthrough, and yes it would be shorter if the hunters won, but reading a few forums to see if I played it wrong confirms that it is a long game.

Hidden villian mechanics.
Family game night got a great addition. If you like this game try Last Friday. We have extensive number of games and this one is good.

Horrorific Fun for Five
Fury of Dracula is an amazing game of cat and mouse in a 4 vs. 1 format. Once the core rules are learned by all the players involved it is a real treat to play on game nights, especially if you have an experience Dracula player. Where the game comes up a little short however is the learning curve to play. Players who are not well versed in board games may struggle to learn this game and would benefit from watching one of the many How To Play videos on youtube. The figures are painted nicely but the feet of the figures may separate from the bases on handling. A simple fix with super glue solves this, though it is annoying I had to do that for two of the figures. The board and card art are top notch, as are the other components. Combat in game flows smoothly and feels like a game of War with a deck of cards. The playtime can drag on sometimes though, it is easy to hit the 3 hour mark playing this game, especially if you have newbies. Overall it is a fantastic game and worthy of any collection that enjoys it's fair share of horror themed games.

Fury of Dracula: Los clásicos no mueren, los vampiros tampoco.

Event cards (Hunter/Dracula) have the SAME color in my game
I just gotten the game and had my first game with it. It is huge, complex and long - so take some time and read ALL THE RULES before you even start the game for the first time. Get to know when fights happen, when you gain influence, what happens to revelead cards and so on.. it is massive, so be prepared (maybe make your own cheat sheet). Also very important: Understand Draculas power cards - they are quite misleading and difficult to understand if you got no clue.Overall the quality of the game itself is great. Strong cardboard, nice figurines, well made cards - overall i am very happy.
