These seem well made and will outlast any hammock by years! Very simple to use. You wrap around a tree or other suitable object as many times as needed and then thread the end through the metal loop. You then hang your hammock off one of a few different loops at the desired length. They include 2 'S' hooks although our hammocks already have their own clips. My daughter says it looks the same as the well known brand version....although I haven't seen that myself to know for sure.

This review is just for the hammock straps. I had received a hammock as a gift but did not have straps. After using rope to set it up I noticed the bark on the redwood trees was being damaged. So I took it down and went online looking for a better alternative. I ended up buying these hammock straps. They work very well and only took a couple of minutes to set up. There are three spots on each strap to hook on your hammock so finding the right distance/tension should be very easy.

Works well but can be update to works better

I bought these straps for my hammock to go backpacking. They work great and definitely stay on the tree easily without much slip (little bit when you first lay down). Adjustment can take a few minutes in order to get the right strap length but you could suspend a hammock from two trees VERY far away or from trees the exact distance of the hammock itself. Works great!

The strap snapped and hammock fell. Stay away from this product.

Easy to use, and they work beautifully. I did have a few snags in the nylon taking it on and off of the tree, which I melted smooth with a lighter flame. That shouldn't cause a problem until I've used it a few hundred times, so I'm not concerned at all.

A bit more bulky than I thought that it would be. Replacing with Whoopie Slings, but these do make setting up my hammock easier. Happy with them, but not really what I need. Very well made but do stretch a bit on the first use.

Ok hammock straps for the price. They do stretch, which is good if you are trying to place in a long span area, but you could spend an extra $5 and get some that don't.
