the best off brand #7 on the market
Use a softer reed! And it will perform beautifully. A 1.5 or 2 tops. I don't like the metal ligature otherwise it's a great addition to my collection. It's got some great volume and excellent inflection and it looks beautiful with the instrument.

Great Value.
Ridiculously good! Great tone from lowest to highest note, I’m surprised because I bought the Alto version 5 yrs ago but does not play as great as this one. Just maybe I got lucky w this! Nice Job w the stencil. Thanks for keeping the price affordable for us working class, weekend Jazz hobbyists!

This product has lead in it.
It plays fine but please be warned I took this mouthpiece to a jeweler and apparently it has lead in it. Its mainly made out of copper and zinc.

Bel article
Habituellement, j'utilise un bec en ivoire et ce bec en métal m'a grandement surpris. Mon son sur mon ténor est beaucoup plus rond et élargi. Très contente.

Yibuy Gold Metal #7 Mouthpieces Review
Okay, with over 45 years experience I, like Sirvalorsax (checkout his review), buy and test these budget metal mouthpieces to recommend to students where appropriate and I have, among others, two Yibuy mouthpieces including this gold #7 and the white metal jazz #9. All in all I am very impressed with the manufacture quality and the speed of delivery. Turning to the gold #7; the table is very flat and well machined as is the chamber and bore. The Yibuy is a perfect fit on my Yamaha YTS-62 tenor. The baffle is what I call a step baffle which is modestly high with an undercut tip. This makes the mouthpiece very free blowing. The tone is bright and edgy with oodles of power and projection. The high notes are very bright and the lows sing really nicely. Sub-tones are acceptable and, altissimo notes come out really easily due to the relatively long lay/curve. Overall I find the tone excellent and very controllable. I like a bright mouthpiece for Rhythm and Blues and when playing with LOUD guitars! Yes, the ligature and cap are a bit cheap and my cap is very loose but, why not replace them with a Rovner ligature set anyway? You got the mouthpiece for peanuts! The side rails are a bit wide at the tip and the Vandoren 2.5 reed I used to test the mouthpiece sat shy of the rail outside edges. I suffered a few squeaks at first but that’s down to the Vandoren reeds tending to have a weaker heart and, I suspect the ligature is not tightening enough (I usually use LaVoz and Rico Orange Box reeds). The mouthpiece length is about average being longer than my Otto Link Super Tonemaster 8* and shorter than my Lawton Bronze 9BB so, tuning is spot on. The tip opening is a bit less than most 7s but you know what, there is no standard and it’s about the same as my Brilhart Metal Level-Air 7 Mark 2.Would I recommend these mouthpieces? Yes, in a heartbeat. Would I use them for gigs? Yes. Just remember that it will take inexperienced players a little embouchure adjustment to get things working properly and they’ll get you on the path to playing wider tip mouthpieces for more power and a much richer mould-able sound that will get over the loud on stage noise and, for you to be able to hear yourself from low to high notes. Be prepared to try different reeds.Footnote: These mouthpieces seem very similar in design to my Lawton’s and Berg Larsen’s and in copying those and with modern CAD engineering the Chinese are turning out very consistent good quality.

Magnifico.
In definitiva, per me è MAGNIFICO.
