I think the Algo 8180 is a great product in itself and deserves 5 stars but the phone provider Comcast Voice Edge will not give any information that is needed to complete setup. I wish these 2 companies would work things out.

Excellent product
So far has exceeded our expectations. Bought this to use in a manufacturing area so that we could hear the office phone ringing while in production area. Only have the ringer set at about 50% and it's easy to hear with machinery running.

Did have to reset the unit a few times when moving it between locations while testing, but once we set everything it works perfectly.

Great interface when using a cloud based telephony solution
Great interface when using a cloud based telephony solution. Will use an IP ext but will get your paging system accessible via your phones.

Great product, but drops calls.
This thing is fantastic. Lots of features and easy to configure. Big problem though... it drops intercom calls after 30 seconds. Tech support wasn't helpful - they just blamed my phone system and turned me loose. I have plenty of experience and products from many different vendors in my environment so it's not just user error. I spent lots of time changing settings on the device and on my phone server, but nothing works. Calls last for exactly 30 seconds and then drop. All the other Grandstream, Polycom, Cyberdata, and Valcom stuff I have works great in the same call.
