At 3 inches cubed, it sits stable on the desk by itself, easy to move around and punch. The Normally Closed (NC) contacts are the green side (orange side is Normally Open (NO)). The Genmitsu 3018 MX3 uses the NC contacts and the Mach 3 app sees the contact opening to stop operations. The switch housing has a grommet that can be punctured with an xacto knife blade to pass the wire. Cannot beat the price.

Looks the part from a distance but did not trust to hold up being the button is such garbage. The box seemed ok but the waterproof seal would be questionable due to how thin it is. Returned and found better options for the same price range. Do no recommend.

This is supposedly to be used for industrial equipment and is supposed to accommodate heavy gauge wires.But the internal terminals are undersized: they accept 12 gauge wire only with great difficulty.The terminals are angled, which further complicates connections.Also, it's a DPST switch, so it only connects/disconnects a single phase at a time (but not both), so use accordingly. I had to wire a neutral straight through: not ideal, IMO.

The quality isn’t fantastic, would not use in an industrial or real emergency application as there’s gaps in the housing when screwed together. Great for my use case with a raspberry pi and an octoprint server. I’m using this to stop prints on my 3d printer in case of an issue or emergency so fine for my needs.

Made very badly. Kept it and did not bother to return as we needed them, but Amazon should have a checker go thru items that can be dangerous in use. Claims to be waterproof it is definitely not as is presented. The two halves black and yellow do not match, so there is a gap easy for water to get in, the screws holding the two parts only have a small thin plastic skin to hold on to, so for sure this will wear out soon.For a few cents more they could have a machine bolt with a nut on the other end NOT the skinny wood screw into a plastic skin!
