I mow 5 acres with a Hustler Fastrak 60" mower. These earplugs have done an excellent job diminishing the engine noise of the mower. Mowing 5 acres isn't a quick job, and these earplugs have remained comfortable throughout the time I have worn them (several hours needed to mow the acreage). These are a little slow to completely "inflate" after you squish them, but it's no big deal considering how comfortable they are.I just want to add a little training tidbit for those who may not know how to insert an earplug: roll the end of the earplug until it is squished, (for the right ear) reach behind your head with your left hand and pull your ear back, then insert the rolled and squished earplug into your ear canal (don't over-insert!!).

Recently made my son a wedding. I placed a handful of packages on each table knowing my guests would appreciate drowning out the loud music. Everyone loved the idea. The earplugs were a huge hit. I have another son getting married in a few weeks and I already purchased more. So many of my guests thanked me for the great idea and have since purchased them for parties that they have made.

To help at parties with load music

I get plenty of hearing protection given to me at work, but noticed that they are not as high of a rating as these. I value my hearing and am worried about prolonged high sound level exposure. I tried these and they are super! Vey good at sound reduction, very comfortable and a good value.I will buy again!

The bag of ear plugs has a cut in the bag and ear plugs fell out in the box. I didn't count how many I received but its unlikely I received them all. Not worth the hassle of returning them.

I purchased these for the frequent plane rides I take. I love that they are individually packaged so I can just throw a bunch in my bag and use them as needed. They work great for canceling out the noise on the plane so I can sleep or work

I've been using the purple flints for quite some time as well as the flints quiet time. Both work pretty well for me. These are made out of something that didn't sit with me. They "stuck" / "fused" in my ear and I woke up with a screaming ear ache and headache the next day. I think they'd be great for the shooting range or some limited time but not for sleeping.

These ear plugs are really soft and they are super sound blocking. I've used other ones that were not nearly as soft or quiet. I'll buy these again.
