These butt connectors work great
I have successfully crimped these connectors on both 16 gauge and 14 gauge wire with total satisfaction. The heat shrink feature works great with my 578 degree heat gun. I highly recommend this supplier and this product as it does exactly what it is supposed to do. Like anything mechanical you have to pay attention to get a good crimp. If you do that you will be totally satisfied too.

They don't fall apart or break easy. I've not come across any defects among the 300 pieces. These work best with a ratcheting crimp tool

They crimp well, seal well, no complaints. The cost is up there, but that's pretty typical for waterproof connectors. Not outside the normal price. The quality is fine as well.
