Great fit just like original Topsiders but higher sides for cooler weather
Comfortable just like regular Sperry Topsiders but with high sides. Better when the weather is a bit cooler. Sperry traction great.

Great chukka boot
Fit is superb. First wear today and they feel like they will break in fine. Not too stiff on first day which is a great sign. The best part is their flex and how cushy the sole is compared to most of my other shoes esp silly older Sperry's! You can feel the internal bounce of it when you put pressure on it. They seem like the leather may scratch easily, but rubbing my thumb over it for a bit took it away and some small layer pieces of leather were left on my thumb. Overall, fantastic!

Sperry Boardwalk Chukka Boat Shoe
The Boardwalk Chukka's were comfortable right out of the box. Not much arch support but I find them easy to wear all day. I did soak them in water and wore them without socks for about 8hrs the first day to form to my feet. These are boat shoes and once dry, they have almost a slipper feel. I wear Asolo hiking boots most of the time and find I can wear the Chukka's much longer without foot fatigue. I had a pair of the original Sperry's back in the 70s and the quality seems to be just as good.

Name brand? yes, great shoes? Well, they are ok, satisfactory.
I like the color, the name brand, & the value. I am not overly impressed with the stability factor. Maybe I expected more. They are OK, worth the price, but not my favorite shoe. They are Ok, not great.

Not the classic fit.
Meh. Don't fit like the standard classic Sperry Top Siders. Narrower, uncomfortable. Returning and sticking with my classic Top Siders that have taken years of abuse.

The shoes seem to be well made and comfortable.
These run small, particularly the width. I wear an 8.5D street shoe. I tried these in 9.5M; exchanged them for 10D. Length on the 10D is just about right, width is still snug. The shoes seem to be well made and comfortable.

Nice shoe
I've worn the regular boat shoes for years so this is a little change of pace for me. My one complaint about them is that they do rub against my ankles and Achilles around the top. I'll probably just have to wear a couple pairs of long socks at a time until it stops bothering me.
