Garbage line very weak
Complete garbage. I bought 50lb test. I always test my line to make sure it can do what is claims. I tested this line and the 50lb test couldn’t even lift a 25lb plate. It was not breaking at the knot either it was breaking the middle of the line. On top of that it shipped from Aisa and took forever to arrive.

great stuff.....available from california
HERE'S A CALIFORNIA SELLER, SO DON'T BUY THIS FROM CHINA. look for the California seller. GLAD IT WAS $6.00....WAS GONNA USE THIS HEAVY BRAID ON MY DOWNRIGGER AND TAKE OFF THE SS WIRE CABLE. I USE A LOT OF HERCULES BRAID. HAVE YOUTUBE VIDEOS ABOUT IT EVEN. I REALLY LIKE IT. BUT 99.99% OF THE TIME ITS 30# BLACK. (update) got the spool the next day via usps from china post, too just under 14 daysthese reviews are so full of crap!!!!!!!!!! been using Hercules line for years now. saltwater, hard fighting fish, works great very strong, and color doesn't fade much at all. I have many Youtube videos talking about various braided lines, and I always go back to hercules. not a fan boy of any braid, but when it works consistently for MY charter customers and when I put it on my own Amazon store. That says it ''WORKS FOR ME'' on my 68 reels loaded with it.

This is great line
If you have never used braid you have to know it's limitations vs its advantages. The greatest advantage to braid is it's diameter/thickness and it's cast-ability in comparison to the same strength monofilament line. I use 50 lb braid and can cast a considerable distance further than with monofilament because of this. I like to fish for large catfish and I can rest assured that if a big cat takes off down river I will have plenty of line and not have to worry about the fish taking my entire spool. The disadvantage of braid is it's resistance to abrasion. Fishing and abrasive surfaces like rocks and tree limbs just go together. Where I fish, as you can see in couple of my photos, there are lots of big rocks. It wouldn't take a very large fish to break this line if it were to rub against one of these rocks. What I do to combat this is use 10' of 50 lb big game monofilament leader line attached to the end of my braided mainline. I have found that the best knot to use to retain the strength is a PR knot tied with a line bobbin. A search of youtube will show you how this knot is tied.Anyway, the largest fish I have caught using this line is a 55 lb flat head and countless blues from 20 - 45 lbs. And as far as the color of the line fading, I fish on average 3 days a week in fresh water and it does fade a little but not more than should be expected.

A superline
Cost effective & great color. I used Power Pro and Spiderwire, this seems to perform exactly the same, but it's cheaper. After using this during the summer of 2019, I'm changing the rating from 5 stars to 3. This line is not round. It must be more like the webbing material a seatbelt is made from and it shows a lot of twists. I loaded it on a new Pflueger President spinning reel and tried to get a picture of the line twist. I can see it, but it may be only because I know it's there, but this will cause knots in your lineThe price and color are great, but I'd try something else.

So far as good as any braid half the price
Price was VERY GOOD, Shipping was fast, packaging was acceptable. The line spooled well and appears to be consistent color also appears to be consistent, only time will tell about fading. I used this line in salt water. Attached it to a 20lb mono leader with a double uni knot and it had no issues. The line seems durable and abrasion resistant at least for surf fishing applications.. It casts well like any other much more expensive line. Only time will tell regarding durability. The hot Florida sun and salt water should do the trick. For the price point you can fresh spool every season if felt the need. At this time I would recommend this product and this company. I purchased several spools so I'm Happy.

Discoloration is the major issue but price is decent.
Strong, mostly as advertised, but quickly discolours. Used it for a few trips, now its mostly white grayish color. However seems to retain its strength. Does not absorb water and have not had any issues with line pinching.Price is not too bad.

Some color fade
I like the blue color , but it’s fading a little faster than I hoped. It’s been a good line I use it on a bait cast reel . Dislike is if you get it tangled and it gets a knot you need to just cut it and start over. Other braided line may do this as well , might be the Nature of the beast. As long as you keep an eye on it at the end where your weight is to be sure it’s not starting to fray , if so cut it and retie . I have not had it to break and I’ve landed some nice cats with it. Would buy again. The reason for 4 star is the color fade. But color has lasted about 3 months . I have another brand I’m using that’s green and I’ve had no color fade . Good luck fishing.

Can’t get it onto the spinning reel without thousands of twists
Can’t seem to load this into a spinning reel without thousands of twists being generated. The result is when tension is put on the line all of the line that’s on the spool slips and becomes uneven, causing it to catch when casting. I am using backing, have tried putting it in water before loading up, tried it on a pencil, label up, label down… nothing works.
