Professional Dog Shear Scissor Straight 8 Inch For Dogs Grooming Stainless Steel Japanese Process (8.0" Straight Blue Diamond)

After fumbling around with scissors that kept loosening and weren't sharp to begin with, I finally ordered these 5.5" curved scissors. I used them on my maltipoo and they are fantastic, so sharp they will cut a single hair! He has very fine hair on his legs and these scissors make it easy to trim the legs and feet. Our grooming session takes far less time, which makes us both happy. You get what you pay for. Don't skimp on tools you'll end up dissapointed with. I save at least $80 a month doing the grooming myself, and these scissors and my Wahl cordless clippers make me look like a pro.Update: These scissors were great the first time, and the second time I groomed my dog. But then the little nub that is necessary to stop the blades correctly fell off and I couldn't find it for a long time. They were useless without that. I finally found it, screwed it back on, but they have never been the same since. They seem to be misaligned. I can see daylight through the blades, and no amount of tightening or loosening the center screw (with the little tool that came with) works. I'm very disappointed.

Scissors would not keep tight. Every time you made a cut the little bumper between the finger holes would slip past the edge of the opposing finger hole.

Really like the way these shears cut and feel in my hand. Not think or clunky, very easy to use, razor sharp and precise. I use them in my grooming shop so I know they stand up to hard use well.

I’m professional groomer. It is the best thinning shear for the price that I ever had. After one month the cut is not the same like in the beginning, but it still great anyway, it keeps 5 star.

A professional pet groomer, these scissors don’t work well

I groom my miniature cockatoo at 5-6wks. He gets a brush out, bath and second brush out. Then trimmed with the electric clippers. I use these scissors to shape his ears, face and tail. After only 4 groomings the scissors are dull and pulling hair. I definitely DON’T recommend these.

I love these scissors. Comfortable to hold and glides through the hair as well as quiet to use. Nice and sharp too
