I love these cables. Great price for pure copper and I have only had a minor issue with kinking which is fine when you have 30 or more cables to run. I've purchased this cable three times for jobs of 30 runs or more with no problems. The only complaint I have is that the stands aren't very durable but now that I know what to expect, I just remove them, put a small pipe through the spool hole, prop it and keep on working. I will purchase this for all future projects.

Great cable and good packaging. I'd have given it 5 stars except one box spooled out 2 places that kinked even though it was pulling out across the floor in a building in a straight line. None of the other boxes I purchased did this, and through 3000ft of cable I didn't have one snag or tangle. Overall I was very pleased.

Great value for an all copper Plenum cable, superior to CCA CAT cable. The only detractor is the tendency of this cable to kink when laid out during the cable pulling operations due to the cable's fire retardant jacket material.Be ware of the less expensive and inferior CCA (Copper Clad Aluminum) CAT cables on the market. Think twice before placing CCA cable inside walls and difficult to access locations.

[ Edit 03/02/23...Downgrading my original 5-star rating to 2-star because I am angry that I was deceived by this vendor (and shame on me for not reading more reviews before purchasing this item.) As others have noted, this vendor is being deceptive by not stating that the cable is COPPER CLAD ALUMINUM (CCA), not solid copper. Other vendors honestly note when their cable is CCA, but no where in this product's description or even on the box is it stated this is CCA cable. Absent any CCA nomenclature and because it states "Solid" cable--which in this situation only means not stranded and _not_ solid copper--I assumed (yeah, I know) it to be solid copper. Otherwise, for CCA cable, I stand by my original post....end Edit 03/02/23]Arrived fast and in pristine condition, cable seems to be high quality. I've used only about 100' at this time, and no problems.(Minor side note regarding Amazon's shipping of this item... This product has a somewhat thin inner box containing the cable with cutouts for cable pull and hand grip, and the very sturdy outer box emblazoned with "Cat5e" that is pictured on Amazon. This product was not placed in a plain cardboard shipping box that would keep the contents a mystery to prying eyes, so everyone could see that...Hey! There's a box of Cat5e sitting right there on that porch! Now, if you're a business, or a consumer waiting at home for the delivery (my case), that would be a good thing; less waste, less landfill--if recycle is not an option. However, if you are worried about porch pirates, well...)

Arrived fast and in pristine condition, cable is high quality.

What can i say about the produtCONS:1) This is a CCA or Copper Clad Aluminum wire, it very misleading that the title for this product does not include CCA to describe the wire. Yes the price is low and should be a give away that it is a CCA wire.2) Like the other reviewer stated there is a consistent amount of snagging when pulling the wire, not all the time, but the only 2 factors i can think of causing this problem is: 1] the wire is cold because it's core is aluminum not copper, 2] the plastic dispenser hole is only 1" while other brands are a 2.5" size making it easier for the wire to get out of the box3) Because it's CCA wire, you have to be a little more about bending and kinking of the wire especially when you use a stripping tool to remove the jacketPROS:1) Price is a major pro, where another box of 1,000 cat 5e plenum runs about $190-260 this box being around $112-120 is a good deal2) Unlike more other plenum wires, the interior 4 pairs have an easy to see color coded jackets, other brands of plenum have mostly transparent jackets so it's hard to determine orange from brown

I wired up a pharmacy with the blue plenum solid copper a couple years back. This stuff works great! It has a good jacket which isn't troublesome to remove, the wiring punches down nicely, and it isn't a fight to the death to crimp an ethernet jack on it, and after 2 years the performance is the same as day one. I will happily buy this cable again!

Arrived on time and works as expected.After trying to use this cable, I need to update my review. It is the worst cable I have ever used. Won't pull from the box. I have to open up the box and had feed it out. It kinks at every opportunity. I will never purchase this again, and I would not recommend it to anyone. Period.
