CIVIVIBaklash Linerlock Black G10

The Baklash was my first Civivi Knife and possibly my favorite. It was one of their first designs and for me a hit. The 3.5 in clip point blade has an aggressive look and the hollow grind makes it a great slicer. The Black G10 Scales and the blue stainless steel liners give the knife a really upscale look with plenty of space for a great grip. For close-up work the finger choil and healthy gimping on the top of the blade makes detailed work a breeze. I should have started with this the action on all civivi knives are butter smooth, Stainless steel bearing and a solid liner lock make it a beauty to use. Lastly the fit and finish on this knife is first class no gaps, no sharp spots, nice. Two improvements for this knife, the choil could be a litter bigger for bigger fingers and the steel although 9Cr18MoV is good, this knife would be great in D2 or VG10 or S35VN. But for less than $50, I have no complaints. Love this knife.

So much quality that by far surpasses the pice that you pay for the product. Great sharp edge, smooth and speedy opening action. Just overall great product. Good looking and feeling materials, make carrying it a real joy.

Civivi knives is definitely the best I’ve found under $50. Awesome action, better than some $200 knives I have. Good hardware, deep carry clip, premium feeling g10 and the blue liners add a nice touch. Their 9cr18mov steel is decent as well. Detent is just about where I like it also. Only negatives I can come up with are that the blade is very thin behind the edge and the tip is very thin as well. The liner lock could have better access but it has good jimping on it which helps.

This is a very nice budget EDC knife. Good steel, the flipper is super smooth, the weight is just right and balanced as well. Great G10 handles, not too aggressive but still has grip but won't shred your pocket and I barely notice this knife in my pocket. Deep carry pocket clip but that is my only gripe, the clip does have two hot spots when you use and hold this knife but other than that for the price to quality ratio, this knife is well worth the price.Don't be fooled by the Made in China aspect of this knife, this company makes high end WE knives then the budget line of Civivi knives which are designed by actual "knife guys" rather than just some company trying to copy and mass sell a product and make a quick international buck.If you want something a little lighter and thinner in the pocket I suggest the Civivi Elementum.Shipping was average since it had to come across the border to Canada but still shipped on time.

This is a very well made knife. It has a classic look and a solid feel, though it's fairly light for it's size. Understanding that this was designed to be a 'budget knife' it is the best 'bang for the buck' knife that I own. The cut of the blade, shape of the handle and deep-carry pocket clip make this my new every day carry. It has replaced my Benchmade.

I love this knife. But I've got one problem, the pocket clip became very loose and wiggly after a while of being in and out of my pocket and it won't tighten back up. But the rest of the knife is amazing.

Awesome action and great detent too. I love the blade profile and grind, very slicey. This is a little larger than what I normally carry for edc (think Rat1 or Para2) , but what a workhorse. Don't be fooled if you're not familiar with the 9CR18MOV steel, it compares with D2 or even VG10. The deep pocket clip is a nice bonus too. The last thing that's really cool about this knife is you have to look very hard to find any markings anywhere on the knife.

It's a beautiful knife for the money and I love the blue liner locks on it.

For the price point this Little beauty has not disappointed. For EDC it’s more than capable and personally I think it looks frickin cool.
