Last Man Standing: The Complete Seasons 1-6 DVD

Received on time. Really enjoy this series.

Last Man Standing features Tim Allen back again to stimulate your funny bone with an outstanding cast to back him. Political comments against the liberal section of our country got the show cancelled in my opinion because it was doing well against it's competition on Fridays according to it's high ratings. Doing so well in fact that the Fox network couldn't wait to snap it up. One problem. the character of Mandy has changed from that flighty black-haired fashion guru to someone that is blonde and stands as tall as husband Kyle. What was Fox thinking? Too many cast changes have partially wrecked Last Man Standing. I'm waiting to see how long it lasts on Fox now in it's 7th season altogether.

I didn't start watching LMS until ABC cancelled and Fox picked it up. I wanted to see what the controversy was about so I started watching with season 7. Then I had to go back and watch the previous seasons for context and got hooked. Trying to watch with commercial interruptions became very tedious and I missed some of the programs so I bought the set. I love the way they refer to previous (and some current) things Tim Allen has done, and how several characters from Home Improvement show up in new personas.

Never really watched this show on ABC but started catching it on cable syndication. We liked it and wanted to see it from the beginning. We're midway through season 3 binge watching and everything is fine so far. I saw that some of the reviewers were critical of the quality of the digital transfer but - so far - we haven't had any problems. We're really enjoying witnessing the character development as well as enjoying the humor and with the good video and audio it's been a pleasure to watch. Good service, decent price.

The DVDs are brand new and work in the DVD player, and the low pricing was a plus, also.

Because of complaints in other reviews, I loaded all the disks, and all started and played fine in my player. I have not watched all the episodes, but assume everything will be OK, since the few disks I HAVE watched for multiple episodes have been problem-free.Understand what you are getting: 6 separate DVD cases w/ 3 discs each which (I assume/hope) contain all episodes from seasons 1-6. These are bare-bones DVDs: No special features, no commentary, hence only 4 stars. The video resolution seems a little low, but let's face it, you're not watching LMS for the special effects, you're watching for the funny. IMO, these first 6 seasons, while the show was on ABC, are so much better than the following seasons after the cancellation and move to FOX. Molly Ephraim and Kaitlyn Dever have been sorely missed.

I have LOVED this show from the very beginning and I'm super excited to have gotten it on dvd so I can watch it again and again. It is a great and funny show and a must have!!

This is the funniest sitcom series I have seen. Mike is quick-witted and the kids add to the fun. Love the growth of the characters over the years.

If you liked him as Tim Taylor, you'll love him as Mike Baxter. This time instead of 3 sons, its 3 daughters. Makes me laugh out loud.

The first few years are hilarious,but is does tend to become less funny as the series go on.
