Mad Max The Road Warrior 1:24 Scale Model Kit By Interceptor by Aoshima

I really enjoy this model car of the V8 Interceptor from Mad Max. It looks just like the car from the movie, it's a nice quick, detailed model, and fun to weather down, and look dirty. It grabs my attention, and satisfies me. Thank You!!!

The picture and the product are different. It's prefabricated, and it's even different in color from the photos posted. The seller did not post accurate product information.

Great product

A reasonably simplistic kit which can be built up into a very nice replica of Max's car.I'd say it's as good a quality a kit as any in the way of 1/24 scale autos. For an experienced modeler, it could be built up to resemble the car as it appeared in the first film. However it only has the body and parts for the cannibalized Falcon XB of the second film, (The Road Warrior). Most will probably wish to build the latter as it comes with the rear gas tanks and spare tire, etc. If assembling this kit you may want to note that the instructions give no mention to the blue police light and the mounting bracket included in the kit. View the first movie, (Mad Max), to see where it goes on the dashboard. (Only the bracket appears in The Road Warrior). Comes with multiple decals including alternate versions of the bronze side logo. I used acrylic paint to simulate sand and desert grime. First applying the sand colored paint on the black body, then wet sanding with 600 grit paper to "wash" off the larger areas to give it an screen-accurate appearance.

確か小学生の時にガンプラを作って以来、久しぶりにプラモデルに興味を持った。「マッドマックス２」は私の大好きな映画のひとつで、特にこのインターセプターは子供心に「こんなカッコイイ車が欲しいな」と思ったものだ。雑誌で紹介されていたので、即購入。プラカラーや専用の接着剤を使うのも久しぶりなので、シンナーの臭いと細かい作業に悪戦苦闘した。あまりにも細かいパーツが多かったので、所々欠損したりしたが、なんとか完成。車内の装備をはじめ、マックスや愛犬が食べていたドッグフード、車体下の自爆装置などパーツが充実していてGOOD！　これから汚れ塗装を施せば、私の拙いプラモデル製作技術でもなんとか見られそうである。欲を言えば、車体横サイドの窓は最初から開けっ放しになっていた方がよかったことと、マックスの愛犬ザ･ドッグもプラモデルに付けといて欲しかった。でも充分に満足。「マッドマックス２」に出てきた他のマシンも商品として出してくれると嬉しい。

写真とはちがう商品がきましたがプラモデルなのですねこれは組み立てたら写真のような物になるのですか？
