I worried that I would be starving and fail after the first day but the past 9 days have been surprisingly easy. No cravings at all, I just needed to get over the habit of eating meals (sometimes quite large meals) 3 times a day, eating through boredom and find something else to do in the evening.You’re basically training yourself and your body to do a fast, I did 16:8. But it also taught me that I often eat for the sake of eating, not because I’m hungry! I’ve realised I don’t need a huge lunch or 6 coffees a day. I hope I can continue with this change in eating habits now I’ve finished the detox.I started the detox as a quick weight loss tool and I have lost 13lb which I think is pretty standard. But by half way, the weight loss wasn’t my goal anymore, the mindfulness in my food intake has been far more beneficial and I hope I can continue with my new regime now I’ve used all the products.Would do this again in a heartbeat and will miss the structured ragtime and energy boost it’s given me!And it only actually works out at £6ish a day, far less than a normal days food.

This 9 day detox was super easy to follow. I used the more expensive brand in the past but I now prefer this one. Half the price and less complicated, no 30 min waits between supplements and food, etc. The shakes are made up with water and are very tasty, I started with the vanilla and then purchased the chocolate and banana for variety, banana being my favourite. Hunger was not an issue at all and I didn't feel the urge to snack. I lost over 1/2 stone, which included a couple of cheats at the weekend, without that I reckon it would have been at least 10lbs. I was disappointed it finished. Could easily stay on this for a lot longer as it really suits my busy lifestyle so now moving on to the 30 day plan.

I have used similar products to kick start a new year detox in the past and I found this easy to get straight in to. The instructions are short and sweet rather than reams of advice on exercise and recipes etc that you can get elsewhere. At first I though the chocolate milk drink might be horrid because you mix it with water and not milk (you probably can mix with milk) but it makes the calories lower at 117 and is nice enough (although not quite McDonalds Milkshake lol and hence using this ;). The cost is great as well at almost half the price of other products sold through pyramid schemes. I'm 5 days in a 5 lbs lost in weight so far and feeling a lot better than I did after Christmas and planning to start the 30 day follow-on. The only thing I would say is that the shaker isn't great. The practical issue is there is no measure on the flask (and actually i would add 330ml+ of water). The screw on sections don't lock that well so I wouldn't be confident of putting the powder in there in case it falls apart, however the flask itself seems to mix the drink well enough so just use it for that and a tea strainer to avoid any bits (although don't seem to get any anyway, so just a backup). From a design point of view the black flask doesn't look very nice either. It's quite a harsh look and not very fitting with the sustainability message because it's not as recyclable as clear plastic as everyone keeps telling us!. I would rather they charged a bit more and provided something i would use again. Otherwise would be 5 star.

I ordered this detox plan as a substitute for the forever living clean 9 which I have done previously. Aside from the cost being dramatically less, I much prefer the aloe vera being in a capsule rather than a liquid, as the liquid doesn't taste great at all. I lost 9 pounds during the 9 days, and I continued to lose another couple of pounds after the detox as I carried on eating a calorie controlled diet and exercising regularly. I slowly increased my calories once I was happy with my weight and am now back up to 2000+ calories a day (I run a lot) and am maintaining my weight. Brilliant kick start to getting me back to a healthy lifestyle. I will use this plan again. I usually do a 9 day detox after I've had a binge, e.g. over Christmas, or after an overindulging holiday. I know a lot of people will tell me this isn't healthy, but it works for me :-)

I did lose some weight but who wouldn’t lose weight if you’re eating one 600 cal meal a day! The main reason for wanting to do it was because I really wanted to feel less bloated but instead it made me constipated. It’s good value for money but I think it’s lacking in information which is a bit lazy on the manufacturer’s part. The ‘manual’ is literally a sheet of A5. I would have liked to have known what each vitamin was for and how to take it. For example if you don’t drink all 250ml of the water in one go at the time of taking the husk fibre it binds you up. I didn’t know this until I Googled it.On the plus side the protein shake is REALLY nice and I like the idea of knowing what to eat or drink and when. Some meal recommendations would have been nice too.

I have tried many weight loss plans and nothing worked. I was apprehensive but thought well i trust amazon reviews so why not. Actually to my surprise I lost half a stone in the first few days. I found it really easy to follow, hardly felt hungry and sorted out my sugar cravings. Before this I ate sweet things all day and cereal. The only thing is now, how do I continue to lose weight ? It doesn't tell you what to do when you finish the plan. But great and easy kick-start to healthy eating and weightlose.

I was very excited to receive my order and finally get into the headspace to kickstart my weight loss. I stuck to the instructions to the letter. I had a constant headache from day two to day four but still persisted, by day 5 I hadn’t lost an inch from anywhere but had lost 1 pound. Not to be discouraged I continued. Tomorrow is day 9. In total I have lost 1 pound and no inches from anywhere. Very disappointing, don’t waste your money or time on this stuff.
