Get it. You won’t regret it.
This ZT knife is better than my CRK Sebenzas in almost every way - steel, ergonomics, handle material, ease of operation (opening/clouding), balance, not to mention price. I will be keeping this and selling my Sebenzas and Inkosis.

Ernie's soul and ZT's build quality
This reincarnation of Emerson's retired Viper design is a great blade. The ergos are great and when you pick it up everything is just right. The Viper design is one I could not afford, as they were going for over a grand 10 years ago. No hard use yet but just a few days doing mundane EDC stuff, so nothing extreme to write about. When you look at how most of us mere mortals use our knives though, it has been great. A little food prep, chores around the house and office (oilfield guy here) and the 640 has shone. I really like the scales on mine. They are unique in a good way. Also, not having a flipper or wave-feature on this knife makes it even better. Something about the simplicity of the thumb disc, washers, and frame lock just hit the right notes. The one complaint is the clip. I'll get one on the aftermarket but it really does suck as bad as people have said. Other than that it locks up like a Lexus door and feels great in the hand. Can't wait to see what comes next in the ZT and Emerson collaborations. Bryan in Texas

Good knife with ZT touch.
Smooth action. ZT bearings make it.

High Quality, but not a great Slicing blade
Pros:My second experience with a ZT and the build quality is just as high as the 0452. Beautifully butter smooth action on the washers (not bearings, thank goodness), easy to access lockbar, and a satisfying lock-up. Classic and lovely drop-point shape.Neutral:The green CF isn't for everyone.Bad:Terrible pocket clip with very little ramp and minimal clearance underneath, plus a shallow carry. Replacing the pocket clip is mandatory. Pretty thick behind the edge, not a great slicing geometry.

ZT at it's best
Great knife, take a little time to break in, but after a week is smooth like a butter - people don't like green/yellow carbon fiber - I actually like it :) - ordered deep carry clip - must have in my opinion
