Ciaté LondonPaint Pot, Grey Shades

due to a postal strike my nail polish was lost in the post. the supplier bent over backwards to send me a replacement.the original colour I ordered was out of stock. at my request the supplier sent me an alternative colour which I loved they also included an extra polish at no extra charge.i love this make ciate, I put it on before I went on holiday and it was on for the whole week it lasts really well with out chipping.

I heard of Ciate through a blog I have been following (the blogger being a reliable make-up artist) and decided it is worth trying. The shade is absolutely lovely. It is very appealing for the autumn/winter period - and offers a drop of colour that is sufficiently appealing and at one and the same time professional. A minimum of two coats is necessary in order to produce the necessary effect of a light-egg-plant like finish. As with my review of the brighter version of this set, the resultant quality/durability can be a let down. Whilst two coats are more than enough in this case, there is a tendency for the coat to chip at the upper ends of the nail - a matter that is less common with OPI and Nails.Inc. I presume this additional £5 make a huge difference.

Love it!!

Lovely shade (pillow talk) and gives a really good, glossy finish. Like most polishes, however, not massively long lasting and does tend chip a few days in - although a couple of coats will give a longer lasting finish. Overall a really nice polish. Well packaged and presented with excellent Amazon delivery too.
