5-Tier Metal Boltless Storage Shelving in Black/Wooden

I am currently living in a 20×16 mother in law unit and needed more shelf space to put things. This is the perfect fit. Easy to install, very durable, and a beautiful color. Worth the money spent. Currently holding snacks, dry food, dishes, pots and pans.

I have probably purchased 6 of these in order to get my basement organized and plan to purchase more. Great for the price

Instructions were pathetic and it’s hard to put together . Definitely takes two people. Not made for heavy stuff

Unit was purchased in lieu of building shelves in a guestroom closet. It is sturdy and does the job perfectly!

Unit arrived with one broken shelf. As soon as we reported the broken self, another was quickly shipped to us. Very good service. The shelves are nice and very sturdy. We recommend this product.

I don't typically write reviews on Amazon and when I have in the past they are positive. This is my first negative review and it is well deserved.The positive: the shelving system was exactly the size I was looking for and when I opened the box all items were packaged well and all parts in box...even a plastic mallet. The instructions were fairly straight forward to follow....and this is where the positives end.I planned on utilizing the vertical assembly, meaning the two halves stacked on top of each other with five shelves. The first layer of assembling the corner posts and shelf beams was straight forward. In order to connect the upper corner posts to the lower, you are provided with four post connectors. I followed the instructions verbatim, but, there is no way to "fix it with the hammer" (instructions). In order for the connector rivets to seat into the slots, you are to use the mallet and hammer them. Well, there is just no way to use the "shelf" on the connector to "hammer" the connector to the upper and lower corner posts to continue with the assembly....the weld doesn't hold and it falls off. This is a poor design. I utilized a wood block to hammer and still had a hard time. Once you do this, you are to continue installing the shelf beams which you mallet their rivets into the slots. Well, the problem is, you have to "hammer" fairly hard to seat them properly. This causes the upper and lower connector to unseat itself from the slots.Yea, long winded, just to say, this thing is poorly designed. I'm irritated that I improvised to put it together to only have it be not sturdy . Now, in order to get my $100 back, I have to take it apart and try to re-box to send back. What a waste of a Saturday afternoon.

It's a very small rack. Works great if you understand what it is.

I don't ever write bad reviews but this product has been a massive headache for me since it was delivered. I liked the look and the space capacity of this shelf and thought that it would be perfect for my spare closet. I looked into the reviews before I bought it and I noticed that a lot of people were giving it a poor review. I went ahead and bought it anyways because everyone has different experiences with the same product. When I started to assemble it, I notice that the instructions were very poor and offered little to no help with assembly. When I tried to assemble the bottom tier together, I noticed that the bolts that are on the shelf posts do not match properly with the holes in the beams. The bolts on the shelf posts are too wide and are not spaced properly so they will not correctly connect in the holes on the beams. Each time that I tried to move onto another post, everything would come apart when I tried to attach another part. It requires you to use a hammer or a mallet to connect everything together but it was so difficult to assemble that I ended up chipping the paint and bending the shelf posts in the process. When trying to attach the top tier, it took three people to help me connect the two tiers and we eventually gave up. The only good thing about this product is that customer service was extremely understanding of my frustrations and was more than willing to send me a "How to" video and another instruction manual on how to assemble the tiers together. After the two tiers were connected, I noticed that the shelf has a slight tilt to it because the tiers did not match up properly. The product is fair, looks nice aside from the tilt in the frame, and offers a lot of space but the assembly of it is more of a task than what I thought it would be when I bought it.
