So far they've held up as well or better than other hooks that cost a lot more. Haven't had to sharpen any of them. The case could be more sturdy, but it works fine. Good purchase. Great bang for the buck!

Unless you are a pro and don't mind paying $1 per hook, these should suit you well. They are very sharp, the black nickle plating look as good as any other and the steel is strong and hardened - they don't flex easily and if you try to open the eye, the eye will split in two. That's what hardened steel does.As far as corrosion resistance goes, time will tell. I know the expensive hooks corrode quite easily. That's why I figured I would try these. So far, so good. I will update this review if needed.
