Seems well made.

As there is no review on this yet, I will review mine early.All parts showed up, screws in and out just fine, nice and long the body is aluminum and after looking at the manufactures website found the safe working load is 320 lbs. Looks as if every other company measures their turnbuckles by the length of the eyelets (or hook, or screw) so 6 inches would be with 2 6 inch eyelet with a separate measurement for total length. It is my guess that the measurement listed by this company for this one is the total length. I'd need to go check and don't have it with me at this time.The hook screw is the normal thread, the eye is the counter thread.Not thrilled with the 320 lbs Safe Working Load (SWL),compare that with a similar size all steel comes in at a 2200 lbs SWL. I purchased this for a grape trellis.

My plastic coated metal cable clothes line started getting a bit droopy. It became apparent that the vertical post on the far end needed a tensioned guy line to take up the slack. For tensioning, I needed a good sized turnbuckle.This National Hardware N221-895 2172BC Hook and Eye Turnbuckle was a great choice. It is of quality design and build. My clothes line is no longer sagging.

I was able to lift me sagging fence.You only need to tight one side the other will automatically follow. That was cool

Doesn't tell the thread pitch anywhere in the description so if your trying to match it to something that is already in place, good luck. BTW, it a 24 pitch if anyone is interested. I had to return mine as I assumed it was a 16 pitch.

Couldn’t find this anywhere, so I’m glad I found it. Came as shown.

Unfortunately these are much weaker than expected. The bore is so loose that they are not solid even when all the way threaded in. (Threads barely exist) looks like the hole was made too large which gave no material left for the thread.) Recommend only decorative use.
